The form of the new crest is poorly done. Pointless strokes and inconsistent line weights. Look at the famous crests of Barcelona and PSG - simple uniform lines, such as kid could draw them.

That would be on a coloured background. Compare mine on a white background and you'll see what I mean. It has one stroke to the Saints' current one having 2. Goes back to K.I.S.S. A kid should be able to draw a logo from memory.

Looks good, though it doesn't fix the problems of thin strokes making features illegible in smaller applications. I'd get rid of the white outer stroke on the shield as a first step.
