Just scanning through the last five pages of this thread, there seems to be a selective memory around a few situations, starting with Dunkley, the player he fell out with in the hub in 2021 was Hunter and his drinking, but remember Dunkley’s father was very controlling, and pushed the idea that...
He seems to spend most of his time boxing, maybe he is not interested in football anymore.
Thank god for Croft and Darcy, considering JUH cost us a whole draft capital.
At the end of the day the AFL is a meat market and not all young people can cope with it. He needs to make a decision that...
We lost Dunks and we did everything to keep him, but the players we did not seem that fussed about keeping,we have not put a foot wrong, Talia, Stringer and now Smith, they perhaps didn’t meet our high standards and expectations.
I can only speak for myself, but we know journalists (I use the term loosely) read BF, and I don’t want to give them a whiff of a story for the likes of Caro, Kornes and the assortment of wannabe clones to start dishing out dirt on the club.
OMG I have just had my irate interstate son on the phone about his membership. He has been a member consistently for 22 years, and a social club member, changed his address and apparently he is a first year member with no social club. Has anyone else had problems with their membership this...
Well this is a shock, I met Wayniac at a B&F, and he kindly drove me back to Geelong to my car. He was very much a doggie through and through, and I enjoyed reading his opinions, even though our politics could differ.
RIP Wayniac. Condolences to his family.
If the Brisbane time keeper had blown the siren on time, in the last round of 2021, instead of play going on, and one point being scored, costing the Bulldogs top four. The Bulldogs wouldn’t have had to play in four states, be locked up in their hotel rooms and might have put up a better fight...
Roos supporters are now very happy they have CD, leading standards at training apparently.
I don’t think we were driving him out as claimed though, we had to have a good offer and we got one.
Yes, my three step daughters and their families are all one eyed Carlton and very sad to see Bam Bam go, he seems a really good team first player.
We were sad to see Daniels and Macrae move on to, footy can be such a ruthless business.
Correct, sorry I was looking at the list of players selected in the top 10, and these were all players from other clubs, with the exception of Clark who looks like a bust.
All the best for the Festive Season, my Bulldog brothers and sisters. Here is to achieving more in 2025, and celebrating our 100 years in the VFL/AFL in style.
Well when you think about it, the Bulldogs are the founding mother of the AFLW, go forth and play my children.
I am getting excited about the next gen Bulldogs, which will be a much more sustainable successful team then in 2018.
Seriously, I think the thing Cats fans enjoy the most is the poaching of players and the hurt it gives to the other club. How much better would GWS, Gold Coast be if Geelong wasn’t a predatory club. On the AFL website, it has an article on rising star winners and Clubs top 10 picks, with the...
I was on WOOF years ago, but there was a particularly aggressive poster who wouldn’t hear any alternative POV and was quite personal in his attacks. Told me I was too emotional (he meant too female), funny because football can be pretty emotional, judging by the posts on here after a loss.
It wouldn’t be the Bulldogs if we are not seeing former players winning the Brownlow (Conti), or losing players for nothing to teams who buy their success, reminiscent of the late 70s circa. 🤔
I hate to say it, but where is the leadership at the club? We desperately need Moz back, he was always good at being able to put an arm around and straighten out any wayward player, who does that for us now?
I really, really want Marra to succeed, not just for us, but for himself, his family...
2021 we did ok, but ran out of legs in the last half of the game. Considering the shite we had to go through to get there after the Brisbane time keeping error saw us drop to fifth when we should have been fourth, it’s not really surprising, but I enjoyed the finals series up until then.
We played them twice that year, won by a point and lost by a point the next game. Played Collingwood in a big final at the G, my first final, it was amazing.
