I bet the new Irish kid will be a superstar. Premiership.
In all honesty, Irish kid will be a good player, but have us around 5-10th, depending on injuries. We could be dangerous in finals if squad is fit. Many home games will help.
Will be interesting to see which draftees make it from the 2024 class, aside Smith ofc. I reckon aside Smith, two others will probably be able to step up, maybe not in year 1, but over the long-term.
When we first drafted Humphries, I thought hmmm a long shot. But as soon as I watched him in the VFL for the very first time I knew he was going to make it. Unbelievable selection really.
Bailey Smith came out of one of those UAP orbs and is a Time Traveller, he is seen here in 1979 in a Green outfit and can sing Deutsch. Quite the talent this bloke.
Finds the pill more, also a bit bigger... I think Ivisic can link up with his ability to find the holes, and drop in them with the short pass... You know if we slow the play. Winger/Flanker for me.
He looks like he will physically develop in size a lot sooner than say an Edwards. I think this kid will bulk up quite a bit.
The Molier v Dodson comparison will be a good one in years to come. Given they were picked more or less side by side in the draft.
I agree, and same could be said about Neale. Moiler probably a bit better as a Ruck prospect though than Neale. But I kind of see both players on the same path, the Key Forward and 2nd Ruck option. Unless he totally shoots the lights out as a Ruck, then they might keep him there...
The went for this guy because of his flexibility to play Forward and Ruck. His ruck craft does seem good, albeit he's probably not a full time ruck type, but neither was Stanley early in his career.
Now that we drafted Pike in the Rookie, then makes me think they will develop this guy more...
Looks a hard worker, and nippy, and high IQ... chooses the short option quite a bit, maybe he aims for a bit more metres gained and hurt factor with time. Good selection though, as we probably need the types that can get the ball on a string.
I'm not talking the Inside/Outside gun mid... I'm talking just even an outside mid that can rack it up and get into the general play, they can slip to anywhere in the draft.
