It’s an extraordinary decision. Ok scared they he may leave as a FA..or don’t want to pay super max but why wouldn’t you negotiate with other teams? Just plain crazy
I can clearly see AFL football when it’s played in the middle of the ground and from one fifty to the other. When Liverpool played there in front of 90k+ it was also easy to see.
Went there for Leeds Villa game couple of years back. Capacity is only 52k I think. Nice day but stadium looks in need of a massive makeover. And Brisbane? There’s no way NFL would ever approve it
Yeah they are great. But just as many would be hoping for Barkley to win a ring. Lot of Aussies cheering for Mailata as well. Don’t care who wins as long as it’s a great tight game.
I’ve taken interstate and overseas friends, family, colleagues to the ground and they were all quite impressed by the stadium.
You’re being very negative in this thread clearly pissed it’s not in far away small town Perth
Yeah but it’s a big change if you nail a good qb. Look at Burrow ..huge improvement to Bengals in his second year.
Texans with Stroud and also pick up Anderson and Dell ..huge change.
Now Daniels. Broncos with Nix and even Pats have something to build around. FAs want to play with exciting...
As Art says more touring playing warm up games and of course Shield cricket. Any cricket really. It’s not the first time a young cricketer is not picked at the highest level because they lack the experience
He gains more experience playing spin here and elsewhere like others have. Head successfully opened on sub continent before and they want to be aggressive early in the innings.
That aggressiveness is why I think they pick Inglis over McSweeney because that was the bigger head scratcher for me...
We’ve spoken to Rowell

Inglis was selected because they feel he’s a good player of spin, better than Konstas. Head better than Konstas playing spin. On that criteria seems reasonable decision
Could you also add in the start times for each state that Balmain does plus the seeding next to the name along with a picture of the trophy? Oh and also the commentary team that aussiedude posts as well? Ta
Thing is this would probably have been questions asked on his interview and he’s just repeating same reply. And yet the Jags seemed fit. Do they pay attention to the people side of things or just obsessed with the x and o’s? Imagine what Khan was thinking when Coen did the cringey Duval...
