I won't be popular in saying this and I do understand the level of concern in this myopic space but
Two things seem likely to me.
1. Most Carlton supporters don't know
2. Most Carlton supporters don't care
They were bloody good back in the 70's and 80's. It was a great era in the game.
Great runs, high marks, rough and tough. It had a lovely flow and tempo.
Everything changes of course and sadly the modern game resembles overly tactical breakneck rugby if you ask me.
Still Carna Blues
I more or less agree and this perpetually injured group of players we've had for so long is far more a factor than the staff in charge of them. And undoubtedly imo it is mostly down to bad luck.
But then Docherty should be gone way back and we would never have kept Dean Rice.
So it seems one...
