Fantastic win against all the odds. The desperation to get the ball or spoil or smother was off the charts. There were glitches but this is not the day to criticise anyone.

At the SCG one day for a Dogs-Swans game and Croft was playing in gloves. As he ran past a Swans fan yelled out "got a handbag to match your gloves, Croft?" It still cracks me up.

One of the biggest sooks is Tony Squires, from The Back Page. As recently as last week he was still talking about how the Swans were "robbed" in 2016.

Our intensity today was much improved on last week. We looked soft against Melbourne. I didn't like Gawn roughing up Harmes with no response. It reminded me of JJ getting the treatment from Sydney with no response. Today, at least, we were prepared to throw our weight around.

If I'm reading the stats correctly we conceded nine goals from turnovers. That sounds a lot. Who is to blame for turnovers?

We were Keystone Cops after the first 5 minutes. No cohesion, fumbles galore, tackles shrugged off with ease, terrible disposal. And worst of all.. no mongrel. They should be embarrassed.
