Why do we only seldom see Hawthorn ruckmen jump at the ball? Roughie's stint in the ruck last Saturday highlighted the simplicity of ruck work; jump at the ball as high as possible. Furthermore, you forfeit the risk of infringing the opposing ruckman. I'd like to see more of this.
