I have a work colleague who just had a cracked rib from a car accident. I know they are not all the same, and she's no professional athlete, but it took 6 weeks before it stopped hurting when she breathed in. Cracked ribs are no fun. He will lose a significant training block.
Seen a few teams with Shai Bolton in recent days. Those who are planning on starting him, I can only assume you are already on blood pressure tablets, or expecting to be on them by round 3.
Love your detailed responses to other posters dabombers . Great content. Appreciate you taking the time.
FWIW I don't like this current set up for one reason. You have mid rookies on the bench who will likely outscore on field rookies on other lines. Batting too deep in the mids IMO. Long...
Not sold on the Weddle pick. Guy is going to be a star, but doubtful he's going to be in the backline next year. Reckon he'll be wing/ half forward and a little bit of ruck time. Watch for confirmation of role before committing.
Couple of interesting POD's. I personally wouldn't be taking Logue. Reckon there are much better options that are either cheaper or similar in price. Also, you are batting too deep in the mids. Having a high priced rookie on the bench is a waste IMO. The best way to look at it is: If you...
I know we take what's written in the media with a grain of salt, but there was an article on the foxsports website suggesting Parker fell out with horse, and that is exactly why he left. If I can find it I'll post a link to it.
Edit...
Dunno but I've seen a couple of snippets to suggest there are big wraps on him. Given the time it takes big men to break out though, he's probably still a couple of years away. Not 21yo yet.
Seen quite a few with Flynn as flex. Not sure he'll make their best 22. BJW improved a lot last year and they have Barnett coming through. Preseason watch.
Latest version. Taken out Kiddy for Schoey. M3 speculative. Tossing up between him and Soligo. Finn averaged 72.7 pre bye and 89.6 post bye this year. A big pre season watch. Can't see me making too many changes to the forward line as they pick themselves. Still 7 round 3 players but 3 of...
I've got him at the moment too but have read that he's unlikely to be ready for the start of the season. Still a long way to go before we need to make that decision.
Keep an eye on Madden. Put up some insane stats in the VFL last year before a season ending injury. Reckon he'll put pressure on Briggs for the no. 1. ruck spot at the Giants at some stage this year. Might not be straight away, but if Briggs gets injured, he'll be in every SC team in the comp.
Not getting the love for Luke Parker. Reckon he's going to be there basically as an on field coach/ mentor. Doubt he is going to score well enough to be relevant at that price.
Here we go. No point in discussing the rookies until we start getting an indication of who is actually going to be there in round 1. Just placeholders for the time being. Been playing SC since 2011. Can't think of any other year that the forward line was the easiest to start with. Reckon a...
You don't but you would still need to trade out the ruckman because without a trade, you are either swapping him with one of your two playing rucks, or your R3. Could mean you end up with a non scorer in the flex position.
Everyone needs to understand, you can't swap a ruck with a mid in the...
I read somewhere the other day that Kiddy is not going to be ready for the start of the season unfortunately. Would be a lock in most peoples teams.
Edit: Found it.
You sure about that? SC scores in finals aren't used towards averages for starting prices the next year. Would be strange if positional play in finals influenced DPP.
