Good luck tonight Port! Regardless of the result I'll have a team to cheer for left it it. Both teams play football that's exciting to watch. Was kinda hoping we'd both stay on opposite sides of the draw, been a great year by your boys and showed up a lot of doubters.
Same here.
The way they play and attack, you can't help but get completely caught up in it.
Big win has been begging all season with great shows against Hawthorn/Geelong and co. Next few weeks will be very interesting. Few teams fighting for the 8 might get their souls crushed......
Come...
Sorry for the slow response guys, have been off big footy for a few days, not sure if my spot is still available, if it is, count me as in 2013 Team Name "Haz Beens".
I would expect 6-8. But hope for more.
I wouldn't be surprised to see an easy game or 2 get dropped with such a young team not being used to expectation of winning, and on the flip side, pick up a couple of "unexpected" wins against respectable teams on the way. There were so many games that...
Congrats Freo! Defiantely deserved it more than us. I was nervous heading into the game, although I think some of the players like some of the supporters got a week ahead of themselves. Pav's first quarter really set the tone, we had no answer to him all night. The fellow Geelong supporters I...
12 Trades left.
480th odd overall. Would be nice to have a couple more trades left, but this year tried to be alot more aggresive early, left it to too late last year.
Clarke and Horsley are only non premiums/keepers, they will be traded out during their respective bye weeks. Making 1 trade...
Thompson for me. Have had Ablett first 3 rounds, been great so far, but Thompson vs GWS at AAMI............well it just looks so tempting....... he loves to whore it up against week sides with 50 odd touches....
Last year didn't sideways trade pretty much at all early, but I felt it cost me overall towards the end of the year, as I was 30-40 odd points a week behind the 8-ball for so long before I bit the bullet. Not wanting to make same mistake again (Think Duffield and co.....).
So feeling a double...
Geelong have elevated Stringer too. Not going to be reliable bench cover, but might be a good downgrade/cashcow target as he gets games when the younger guys are rotated through.

Just checked my bigfooty msgs after few days away.....missed my div 10 invite :(
Hopefully I can still squeeze in this league? (Or should I wait for 17?)
Team Name 2012 The Haz Beens (2011 Name was HazBeens)
Re: 2012 DT Leagues Signup for New Entrants
Would be keen to join this year, been a member for a little bit, but haven't really participated in the forum much.
Ok biting the bullet,
Lobbe->McAuley (keeping Petrie as a perma forward now that smith+mccauly look like they will cover fine all season, plus as a 4th ruck, I can pretty much downgrade him for $$$$ whenever)
C Richo->Rewault (avoids a 0 and also thinking richo will enjoy an extra long time...
Richardson to Darling? BE of -28, and a 100 last game in his rolling average. But is it too much of a premium to pay for a rookie? Spending $$$ to upgrade a cash-cow to another cash-cow doesn't feel great though..... But may save me a 0 (or 1 of potentaily 2) depending on krak and/or heppell......
my 3c
I have duffield, but in terms of scoring output changes and price changes, they are both on a disturbinly similar path.
I'm taking adcock over enright because:
- adcock has already completed his bye
- enright is going to drop in price this week with a very high B/E, adcocks B/E...
Correct, I made a big mistake transcribing as I was thinking of options etc and got myself confused, sorry guys.
Replace "Grimes" with Coad with Coad and 131k with 122k
New to bigfooty, but long term lurker.
Have a dilema
Have decent bench cover, 2 trades left (220k in bank), can only make 1 more trade this week.
Only looking for a league win, 1v4 tonight, opponent is coping 1 or 2 donuts (depending on pods) in forward and has no trades. *should* win...
