    Toast Reasons for Optimism

One forward set up isn't great coaching.

    Speculation Chad Warner [OOC 2025]

The issue is what club would be better for Warner.

    Speculation Chad Warner [OOC 2025]

100% we soiled the bed last year. Games within 13 points we were 1 win 1 Draw and 6 losses. Out of 6 losses Fremantle were ahead 5 times at 3/4 time. We have the cattle, but the coaching is questionable. Would you believe we only have one 6-6-6 forward set up?

Ryan and Clarke were in the All Australian 44 squad.

    Toast Reasons for Optimism

6-6-6 forward set up we only have one. Three deep usually all talls, only seen Walters rarely in the goal square and three smalls high on the 50m metres line. I like this set up but having one is a real issue for me. Main reason I want JLo to go.

    Toast Reasons for Optimism

I really rate the list. JLo lack of creativity hurt us ie same 6-6-6 forward set and kick out set up. I really can’t understand why you have 3 or 4 set up. It’s just too easy to scout with one set up.

North want to play 2 home games in WA next season

North Melbourne can't support itself without selling games or getting handouts by the AFL. The Roos should have been just a VFL team.

North want to play 2 home games in WA next season

There was a real opportunity to make the new national competition country wide and elite. In WA, you would have got 2 teams from the start. Let’s say Fremantle and Perth. Four clubs align with each team ie Perth, West Perth, East Perth and Subiaco forming a Perth team. South and East...

North want to play 2 home games in WA next season

100%. Double away games is a great idea. Fremantle played Carlton and Port in Adelaide back to back. If the Dockers played 5 games in Melbourne that could be done in 3 Seriously AFL players are soft. A lot of high paying includes travelling regularly. Cricketers spend months away and...

List Mgmt. If you could change the AFLs team list structure, what would you do?

It think is too many players who could get a game somewhere else which improves the quality of the games.
  12. E

    Speculation Chad Warner [OOC 2025]

That's why they got Baker, Graham and Owies.
  13. E

List Mgmt. If you could change the AFLs team list structure, what would you do?

More flexibility in season for player movement. For ideas taken from the NBA. (1) Trade period up to the middle of the season. (2) Buyout Market - teams could delist a player and other teams bid for their services. The difference in salary will be taken off the salary cap original team. (3)...

Every fan overrates their young players for sure. You realize only one player played more than 300 games in West Coast history?

Playing behind the ball and at the coal face is very different skill set. Would he better in the middle or back?

You are making the point that he will develop like Stewart but play in the middle?

Another poster made the compared him and Young. We were talking about him as midfielder.
  20. E

    Speculation Chad Warner [OOC 2025]

Context is anything. Young was injured for the first two years. Silly argument. Young is our third best midfielder. Maybe, compare Ginbeys with Brayshaw and Serong.
  21. E

    Speculation Chad Warner [OOC 2025]

There is nothing he has done to say elite. Reid has shown that he will most likely be generational and Cousins and Kerr had signs of being elite as young players.
  22. E

    Speculation Chad Warner [OOC 2025]

Young was actually great at half back and selected best 22 under 22 in 2022 and 2023 as a back. Ginbey isn't at that level. You guys are seriously over rating your kids. Reid is generational like Judd but there is no Cousins, Cox or Kerr.
  23. E

    Speculation Chad Warner [OOC 2025]

0.9 goals per game and 4.5 hit outs is ok. Amiss and Treacey will go to or surpass Allen and Waterman in under 3 years but Williams won't.
  24. E

    Speculation Chad Warner [OOC 2025]

West Coast bf posters were saying that Culley was going to be a star.

North want to play 2 home games in WA next season

Totally agree. 7 home games against high pull teams at Docklands and 4 home games at Ballarat vs smaller interstate teams.

Review Grade your team's trade period

Massive need for the Dockers. Tigers wanted picks 10,11 and Fremantle offered picks 10,18. Richmond got pick 10,11 and Fremantle got 18 upgraded to 14 with a F3. Alot to paid but it's our greatest hole a goal kicking forward and burst midfielder.

What is the capacity of the ground? Would they bring in portable stalls?
