Is there a way to check our rankings for last year?
I never ssed my ranking last year and I can't find a link back to it on the new supercoach page. Last year was my first year and I did okay, dropped a bit at the second half of the season (rank 10k maybe)
Edit: Also don't really mind what...
I think we'll be okay if there are no injuries to Minson/roughead. I have faith that Minson would be able to fill in the 1st ruck role for next season while Roughead and Cordy are developing. We definitely need to draft/develop a backup the rookie draft though.
Not too fussed. It seems old age has got to Mick, possibly because he hasnt been in the media too often lately let his guard down. Especially considering he didn't know/remember EJ won a premiership.
You're either secretly homo or a homophob, in which case you have no place in our society :thumbsd: For your sake, let's hope it's the former.
PS No I'm not homo
I don't think that's much of a comparison either. Higgins has been in the system for longer, has been hyped up for most of his career but has failed to deliver due to injuries so the expectation has been there for a while. Ward on the other hand has had injuries but was continually improving...
Grant probably struggled a bit knowing he was a decoy and not the go to target with Baz around. I'm expecting him to step up and learn a lot more next year though.
I think you meant to add Grant or Roughead. I actually really wouldn't mind trialing it though since Gia doesn't offer us much defensively. A tall forward line with reasonable speed :thumbsu: but it may lack a bit of experience.
My parents were imigrants and I was brought up in West Footscray so I always sort of subconsciously supported the dogs but never really paid attention to footy because my family (and subsequently I) regarded it as a primitive and aggressive sport.
Then I was taught football in PE class in...
Correct me if I'm wrong, but GWS get to choose 5 17 yo kids to prelist and trade on. I think the assumption is that they would choose the 5 best young 17 yo kids, who have the greatest value. Since Crouch is the second most highly rated of the five, then he would be top 3?
I actually tried to ask him during the Live Mike thing why Selwood was so high given he missed 5 games (6 if you include the one where he was concussed). My question ended up getting blocked/filtered. (And I know because a question I asked afterwards got through)
Would've been happy with either Cameron or McCartney but I'm probably more glad that McCartney was chosen.
Side note: does anyone else find his nose extremely annoying to watch?
Re: GWS will be dominant
They'll be exceptionally good in a few years time. The main problem they face is managing to keep all their young stars in 4-5 years when their salary cap returns to normal imo but if they can get that right, they'll be a monster of a team in the future.
Nah we still difinitely need some quality inside mids, Reid and Addison will probably be delisted/traded and Boyd and Cross only have a few good years left in them. That only leaves Libba and Wallis from those you've mentioned. Besides, we'll have to wait a year to play the 17 yo so we won't...
I don't see why the jump from band 2 top band 1 is doubled, surely they could insert a band in between and add a second/third rounder in for us? Adelaide and Dogs are getting screwed over imo, Ward/Davis may not be worth band 1 compensation but we definitely deserve higher than what we're...
