2012 Division Two Draft Prospects - NT, QLD, NSW, TAS

Here he is (article attached) - actually has played very little for the Sydney Hills Eagles with majority of his games played for the Giants reserves this year. Obviously well rated by the Giants and is getting better for the experience , sad day for NSW/ACT football when a kid of his skill and...

Re: My Top 50 - 2012 Draft chris, one who you might want to take a look at is Karl Merson, he is with the gws academy, very strong insider, played a number of games for uws giants reserves. everyone is a little more than surprised he is not in the NSW/ACT Rams squad this year? could be...

    Possible Zone selections NSW/ACT & NT 2012

An interseting omission from the U18 NSW/ACT squad was Karl Merson. GWS Academy player who has impressed at majority of his games. Is a great inside player and regularly tops up for UWS Giants reserves. Dont know why he was left out but should not discount him in the GWS zone mix. Other...

Sydney Footy- All Divisions - 2011 Season

Penno Premier 18s goes down again by 10 goals to ECE. Great footy by ECE, Penno tried their usual verbal & physical pysch crap but as usual to no avail. ECE too slick a unit to fall for it. Time for Penno to realise they are not as good and just need to find better footy players.......

Foxtel Cup: Port Magpies v East Coast Eagles

port smashed eagles by 15 goals. eagles had a lot of skill errors and passengers, some guys only touched the ball a couple of times the whole game. i think the eagles got a footy lesson today, i would imagine most of their players would having a rethink about how good they thought they were.

Official Essendon Draft and Trade Thread

I hear Essendon and a couple of other clubs are sniffing around a 16 year old NSW kid called Karl Merson, takes a great mark and his skills are terrific. Currently with GWS Academy. Not sure how it works if he is tied through their academy. Could be a pick in 2012?

    Foxtel Cup

Foxtel Cup is an absolute "crock". 2nd tier teams and even worse the QLD and NSW teams are "terrible" - fat old guys running around getting caned by the real footy states. I reckon if you want to make a success of something like this then why not the best under 18s sides in each state etc. Now...

East Coast Under 18s Premiers going well. Beat Uni by 30 odd points and St George by similar amount. Looks to be solid team and will be hard to beat all year. Some newbie young guns to watch - MERSON, SAVAGE, NANCE
