A wonderful series, one for the ages.
Shocking batting throughout and a lot to improve on but a great result nevertheless and certainly prime entertainment.
Nah. I think he'll learn a lot from Melbourne & Sydney, post-series will be a good chance for him to reflect and then hopefully adapt for Sri Lanka. I'd take him to see if he has the ability to adapt, otherwise shield level it is.
Konstas has potential but his constant need to play like it's T20 is not going to suit test cricket in the long run.
Might work for an innings here or there but statistically his style won't work. Needs to adapt.
Good showing if he wants IPL action though.
Here comes another test series that is determined by our bowling core setting up & then saving the day.
The batting from Australia has been incredibly average all series long outside of a select few individual moments.
Definitely a few chances gone by but for me Carlton can win the flag next year and easily the year after. That's all you can ask of a club, be in the conversation.
So no, they haven't peaked. Just need it to all come together and get a bit of fortune.
The only thing that is going to keep us up is the fact we're a very good team at the back, especially with Pickford in goal.
But our ability to score is Bottom 3, no sugarcoating it. We just have nothing up front outside of Ndiaye.
So many opportunities at the end to win the game there...
Lmao, understand City are awful right now but Everton is the perfect bounceback game for City to collect 3 points and have a merry new year.
You guys will smash us, re-gain form and fight for Top 4 into next year, Everton are coming at the perfect time to help you.
