    Speculation Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera

Unfortunately for your scenario, the likelihood Butters wants to go to St Kilda is slim. If he is moving he is doing it to play in finals.

Yeah he had a genuine feeling for kids with cancer. It struck him pretty hard seeing them like that and he did alot to try and help.

Rumour Speculation, Rumours, Lies Thread 2025

The AFLPA has approached the AFL about allowing first round players to earn more in their third year than the mandated salery. Their point is that kids drafted after the first round only have 2 year contracts and are able to get market rates in their third year playing, while first round picks...

Opinion Non-Crows AFL 12: It's the confectionery with 1000 uses

I think his ex would say he isnt decent. But as I said he was a good loyal player for Port and does alot off the field with kids that have cancer. Woman have been the weakness of alot of people.

Player Watch Wayne Milera - Razor Tongue

Jr has always been a high level player. Prior to his injuries he was one of our best. People just have short term memories on here, and get blinded by the new shiny thing (Nank) and forget about the gold right in front of them. Hes a great player who is needed in our side. I just hope he can...

Opinion Non-Crows AFL 12: It's the confectionery with 1000 uses

He was a good loyal player for Port Power, and did alot for kids, but he was a bit of a scumbag in others. He cheated on his long term partner twice, the last time with a woman at the club.

    Unrestricted Free Agent Sam Draper

I dont think points or draft picks are warranted. I feel the same decision the AFL made with Brett Chalmers and Collingwood is the best decision here.

Analysis Where is Port Power at list wise?

Depending on the team, the coach has a massive say in list management decisions. Ken will go to the list managers and say what he thinks he needs for his game style, and its up to them to try and fix those holes. You dont honestly think they were going to get Luko and didn't pass it over Ken...

Analysis Where is Port Power at list wise?

I would agree, but there's a little rose coloured glasses there. The midfield is good. I think the rucks are good enough. Theres some holes in the defence and attacks, and a massive hole in the small forward, and forward pressure players that's needed.

Analysis Where is Port Power at list wise?

Talk about an over reaction. Mitch is a very good forward, but he is your only good forward. That's what I said. You need more than one good strong forward in today's game. Lord isnt the answer, Marshall is a good chance to leave the game with his injuries and concussions. Whitlock is miles off...

    Unrestricted Free Agent Sam Draper

I think that Nicks has crossed the line by speaking with Draper directly, in what is a flagrant disregard of AFL rules. I call on the AFL to sanction Adelaide by not allowing them to trade in Draper as a punishment. The AFL need to make an example out of us.

    Speculation Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera

If he nominates Port you will have the whole end of season until a trade is done. If you think its wild now, buckle up. Hey, I have sympathy for you. We have also lost good players and its disheartening.

Cultural as in club culture, or ancestry? Him being indigenous plays no role in which team he gets to go to.

    Speculation Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera

I agree. But you win some you lose some. We lost Dangerfield for Pick 9. Hawthorn lost the best player in the AFL for pick 19. They wernt fair either but they happened.

    Speculation Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera

Tough talk doesn't equate to reality. If you think the AFL or the coach or the fanbase will look positively on St Kilda, who are rebuilding, giving away a player like Nas for nothing instead of a couple of firsts and a player you are kidding yourself. The only team you are hurting is your own...

    Speculation Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera

Its unfortunate for St Kilda if he chooses to leave, as neither the Crows or Port have high draft picks. You would imagine that the Crows pick this year and the next will be late firsts, and as Port doesnt have one this year, they will only have futures to give. One thing I will say is that...
  25. Cleric

    Speculation Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera

Correct. The AFL will approve it as they will deem Nas as a quality first round talent, and Port will be stronger for having him.
  26. Cleric

    Speculation Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera

Same as Port did when they got JHF. The AFL treated JHF as a first round pick due to his age and quality. The same would go for Nas. The reason the AFL put that rule in was to stop clubs missing away their future. No one would think that Nas is a dud that will hurt Port by getting him.
  27. Cleric

    Speculation Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera

The problem is if he asks for a trade to Port then you have two options. Lose him for nothing in the pre-season draft, or get the best deal Port can give you. It sucks when a player nominates a team that doesn't have the draft picks you want. When Rankine nominated Adelaide, we had pick 5 so...

That's what it sounds like. He wants to play out the season and then when he has finished for the season he will make up his mind and call it.
