...if we needed to make a team from players not playing this week.
Sorry sad sarcasm, but not liking the injury list or the fact we are leaving players out when we are bringing some back next week anyway. These guys are out this week. Maybe Moloney and Rivers should've played.
BACKS-...
Seems that this report contains nothing...think 'Smells Like Tom Scully'...and don't count your chickens. Deledio especially doesn't seem to keen for mine, after stating finals will keep him there. He would not likely leave Victoria though.
Isn't he also a foundation member, meaning he gave at least $5k at our very first debt demolition? This means he could give even more to the club in the future than just kicking the ball to our senior or VFL affiliate players while butchering the ball for the Blues and co.
I doubt even a great pilot could land a 747 on the MCG because of the high stands. Remember that guy that landed the plane on the Hudson river, maybe he could do it. Maybe Goose too. Top Gun, pretty good flick. Bye.
Actually, on a serious note...players that took out Kosi would probably be looked at these days as you can get tougher punishment for the damage to the other player. Not fair, but is the way of the modern game. The AFL realised Kosi had issues with perihpheral vision and took that into account...
And what about knives for battle? One-on-one pre-organised fights and we throw the two players a knife or choice of weapon when they are about to start? Of course they have to fight on tight-ropes. For the skill part of the game...:)
I love the game. It has a furious pace, lasts a couple hours, allows me to have a beer with the boys, and it is genuinely exciting watching my team week-in and week-out. The rules though, have softened up our once great game. Last year Trengove was suspended for a brilliant tackle which saw him...
I'm very annoyed. Getting FoxFooty put on my folks tv just for the month cause I'm visiting. Was pumped to see Davey and Blease and one let me down already. This could be a pumping forward line, for talls and shorts...we'll see a bit later on. Not good Sammy.
Happy to wait...I'd say we will announce a huge deal soon...like the position of waiting for the right deal...the more money now the better. A deal with a Chinese-based company might prove more fruitful, and may lead to a longer deal if the company starts to prosper over here. Leave it to the...
Merritt for Brisbane...is that serious...but not Frawley(All-Australian kid) for the Dees. I like the effort, but the the execution leaves alot to improve on. Roughead an A-Grader? Cyril and Martin have potential? There is a program called Microsoft Word where you can write something, save it...
Mitch Wallis is for of an outsider I'd think. I'd be leaning more towards Coniglio, Blease, Aaron Black though.
But for my cash I'm gonna go quietly confident with one man....Billie Schmedts.
Read about training and how kids are going now if you wanna make cash on it. Rich was free money...
Not many. Some mids like Swan and Ablett. Harder for a defender to dominate each week because a forward might be on fire but a opposition ruck is never over 211cm. So I think he's great but it's also a height advantage.
Round 23 ladder tips
All this talk about big movers and sliders...who finishes where and why...
Opinions on reason, not because you hate a team please.
1.Collingwood---Alot to prove...Beams, Sidebottom, plus the usuals.
2.Hawthorn---Premiers, you'd think so? But not Minor, Clarko couldn't...
Hey mate. I'm interested in joining your $100 league. I do not have a PayPal account, but if there are a BSB and ACCOUNT details I can get I will transfer the money. Cheers.
Spirit...sounds familiar, bit too similar to the Shane Valenti story. You can be too small these days, and if you are, pace is definately needed. Can't see this working out, and would be surprised if he plays a game on what you've said. Maybe we should've given the spot to a kid.
The Auskick thing is good for family's, and it is watching one kid dominate...and funny watching the parent umpire the game in a very bias way.
But what we really want:
Cheer Squads...nah not the inbred people sitting behind the goals on their disability pension spelling banners incorrectly...
HOPEHULLY we elevate a player we need. Not necessarily the best player, or best mid...but the one that fills the gap we lack in the seniors. If that be Lawrence then good for him...if we need some extraction maybe Magner or Couch. I'll place my trust in Neeld until we head in the wrong direction...
Good read DF.
Anyone that has been to training....Is Couch a realistic chance of playing AFL this year/or at all?
DF, we'll find out captaincy and leadership groups soon enough. Hopefully Franky Grimes is right up there...and Trenners in the group as you expect.
Jones a candidate at all...
I wasn't too disappointed in the kick-ins last year. We were turning the ball over around the centre which was frustrating. We did this set play huddle at half-back which worked well, where everyone spread at once. It was used in 2000 as well to good effect. The other that gained some healthy...
