honestly dont know...
I can understand how the kids' confidence is suffering though, our opponent has clearly gameplanned well but I have seen 0 adjustment from our coaching staff at all. At this point I think we really need to get Parko in the rooms to give them all a good ole fashioned spray
If Casboult plays next week I have some serious questions for our selection panel... the spud is absolutely useless.
I said it in the offseason, we should have let him go when he didnt get a single offer from any other team in the league... that should have told us something
This statement was the club acting within the bounds of the CFC constitution:
2.1. The Club exists for the benefit of its supporters and the community. It seeks to serve this purpose by undertaking the following:
(a) In playing the game of AFL football, to provide its supporters with enjoyment...
I'm sure I am probably gunna get some backlash for this...
Can people please stop posting this sort of thing on the CFC board? There is a dedicated board for this sort of discussion and the club board is not it.
All these posts are going to do is create arguments and strife.
Lets get back to...
This has been a problem for us for years.
Until we either turn over a couple of senior players or start whacking them at training for crappy delivery into the forward line , I dont see this changing.
(our coach used to make us hold the marking pad for the big forwards to practise their marking...
I'd prefer that he wait until next year... he hasn't exactly been tearing it up in the magoos.
Give him a preseason to put some mass on to better deal with the larger/stronger defenders at the next level.
Looks like this squad will be changing, possibly quite a bit depending on the final squad in the seniors.
When I first looked at it my thoughts were "Whelp, Harry isnt playing in the seniors this week" but then I noticed how many players in the extended squad were mentioned here.

Just so it's easy to access average VFL stats for those stuck in the magoos :)

I prefer that that what some of the other boys do in just blazing away down the line.
I dont think he is a superstar by any stretch, but he is a decent player that generally makes a decent decision.
Do I think he will be in our next premiership side? No
Do I think that he provides us with a...
That's a bit harsh... He isn't a superstar midfielder but he is a good midfielder. You cant have a midfield stocked with superstars due to cap space, Just about all premiership sides have a couple of good but not great midfielders.
I understand Graham is one of the favorite whipping boys, but...
My thoughts on the game:
Positives
- Bryce played a ripper once again (would have liked his DE to be a bit higher than 63.3%)
- Graham has come on in leaps and bounds. The kid looks like he may have found his place in the team as a 2nd tier midfielder (every team needs a few)
- Charlie...
Thought Rance was a CHB? Besides, he cant defend a player the way Jones does.
Rance is all about playing on the 2n3-3rd best forward and running off them
The umpire can have what ever opinion he likes.
But when Basher admits in front of the tribunal (quoted from AFL page below) that he intended to strike Lamb, his intent on where he wanted to land the strike is irrelevant.
