Doesn't surprise me. His style of cricket is hit or miss. He's living of a few good games in last years BBL and junior reputation.
Had a teamate who played aussie championships against him and said he was an arrogant figjam who bagged all his opponents.
He does, which is good. The expectations on young spinners to reproduce junior form is ridiculous. Good spinners don't mature till their mid to late 20s.
I watched the famous Lloyd Pope spell against the Poms live and it was a master-class. The Poms couldn't pick his wrongun but I ķnew watching that I knew would be hard to transition into 4 and 5 day 1st class cricket because he just didn't spin his stock leggie enough, basically was bowling...
