With VP's away record so far they aren't a sure thing at Redcliffe this week. Ipswich will push Moorooka at home regardless in the last round, but with that extra incentive of an unlikely finals spot they could be really dangerous.

Not sure what happened in the end but looking at the ladder Ipswich are still a chance to leapfrog both PR & VP for 5th.

Why bother against Bond away?? 4 won't be enough down there. Pretty sure VP aren't too fussed about protecting percentage if that's the reason, they either win or rest 10 & lose by 15 goals..

I think the comp learnt today that if VP's pedigree are up & about they are a quality side, saying that they'll probably have 10 changes for next week & lose by 10 goals.. A combination of splendour & Carrara's poor discipline probably helped them though.

Fair point, Buswell would be closer to 50 than 30 & he still moves pretty well. Just saying injuries are more prevalent when plus 30 so keeping an experienced list on the park can be half the battle.

With the exception of Ruf & Reading those blokes are on the wrong side of 30 which probably explains why they have't been on the park together. But your right, if the stars align they definitely could be the dark horse from 5th.
