Much of the reporting has been typical media - flouting contempt of court. Check the section on 'publishing matter likely to prejudice a fair trial ' at this site, which gives a good summary:

Articles like this are in murky...
Perhaps not the best phrase but it just shows you how much AFL players earn. The average AFL player salary is now well over $300,000. As a rookie, Krak's base salary was about $55,000. The average full-time wage in Australia is $74,724 before tax according to the ABS. No doubt Krak's upgrade to...
Looks like the Port Store is taking part in the Amex Shop Small promotion this weekend, which gives you a $10 credit on minimum $20 spend. Obviously, you need to pay with an American Express card.
His answer to "can you win?" was so sad to hear. Totally lacking any belief. It was exactly the same from the players in the open training session before the Swans game. A supporter: "Gonna win tomorrow...?" (Long pause). "We're gonna try..."
What does David Koch think of all this? Well, he did send out a tweet this morning promoting "Kochie's 5 step Financial Fitness Challenge" and he's wearing his Sydney Kings top. Makes sense, they're better built than our team.
The problem is they're not all elite or even close to Robbie Gray. There's a lot of kids and that's clearly who Gary Ablett Jr was talking about. He reportedly has some 'interesting' views but I don't think this one was all that outrageous. By the way, I think Ken is the right coach for us -...
Apparently Gary Ablett Jr took a swipe at the lack of basic skills training during the Gold Coast Suns' formative years on Footy Classified (full interview to be shown on The Footy Show). It was taken as a clear criticism of Guy McKenna but I'm not sure it reflects that well on Ken given he was...
For those who need a refresher on basic behavioural standards post 1970s-Australia:

Of course, this has now just happened in Adelaide so... don't expect any accountability.
I'd take it up but the Energy Australia 'Power Plan' doesn't seem to be offered outside of SA. Bit disappointing for all the talk of Port Adelaide being a national brand.
And the group think continues according to this ABC article... worked really well for Heppell so far. Why change now. And the naivety of the poor parents.

Exactly. Port is now much stronger on every metric than it was in 2013. The departure would hurt the SANFL far more than Port, particularly with a careful plan to maintain and strengthen our community football ties independently of the SANFL.
September 2013, KT's revealing speech. "The overwhelming feeling from them [every SANFL club except Centrals] was you've got to decide whether you want to be an AFL club or an SANFL club - you can't have your cake and eat it too - I heard that many, many times." Incredibly, the other club...
I think Ken summed up a lot in his press conference, which is worth watching.
Q - He's got everything apart from that kicking.
Ken - So he hasn't got everything?
Q - Everything else.. the fundamentals of that kicking, do you just work with what he's got and try and get the best out of it...
We're all hurting this year but directing any blame towards Koch and KT for our poor on-field performances and attitude is rough. They've done an incredible job giving the coaches and players everything - that's exactly where the problem is. The coaches and the players. If the club president's...
Look, instead of debating this, why don't we all agree to go to work on Monday and say the same thing to all staff in the company. How many people would expect to keep their jobs?
Broadcasters have been sacked for far less. Howard Sattler for his interview with Julia Gillard in 2013. Michael Smith for his comments about the Prophet Mohammed last year. But then, they're not former football boofheads employed by the Adelaide media boys club are they?
I think a person's life comes first. There were a lot of moving parts to this which hadn't landed until recently. Clearly, Ken and the club were fully informed the whole way. So if it's good enough for the coach, who extended Kane's career, then why isn't it good enough for us?
People make mistakes - it's how they learn from them that counts. Voss made plenty of mistakes at Brisbane and the team's results were poor as head coach. But it's hard to believe he's that bad (and hasn't learnt). I mean, Sanderson took the Crows to a prelim in his first year. Was he a great...
Watched it a few times - it's on the AFL app as a separate video. Could have hurt himself very easily, then these clowns are verbally abusing and physically pushing him back over the fence. Also shows up the archaic, biased commentary: Roo actually has a chuckle. Someone want to explain why a...
Totally agree with this post. Walsh seems an unbalanced personality. Can't see how the continuous 'tough guy' act will work with this generation either.
