It’s like time stands still for JHF. He reminds me of Buckley, Pendlebury and peak Gray. His ball use and positioning to hit a target is amazing. I feel privileged that I (hopefully) get to watch him for the next 10 years.
No disrespect to Lycett, who was one of the difference makers tonight...
We’ve given him way too fair a run and I’m not saying we need to be nice to the guy, I’m just saying that if we go over the top in trying to run him out of town, it might work the other way in terms of attracting replacements or even players. I’m not talking about holding up signs at games, but...
I want him gone as much as the next guy, but I’m not sure fans making the environment hyper-toxic for him will help us in the long run. Can’t imagine decent replacements lining up to come here if we turn the hate up to nuclear.

I actually don’t know what to do. What do you do when a team representing a club you have invested so much emotional energy in since you were 5 years old does not show up in a Preliminary Final where all the odds are stacked in their...
If they didn’t intend to open the top level of the Riverbank Stand like the Carlton game, they should be able to do that and let another few thousand in without too many issues?
Not a rhetorical question because I haven’t been paying much attention to the other nominees - who of the rising star contenders has had a better year than Bergman? Kid’s an absolute jet.
