Also i find it interesting that Jesse Murphy has been cleared to play for another club. I would've thought with all the talented ex locals coming back to the club this year he would have wanted to try win a premiership in his home town. Disappointing for the club!
Nice work! Bloody hard year to pick it! i think most teams will improve and you could make an argument for any team finishing in the top 5. except maybe dimboola. And even Dimmy have a lot of high quality talent coming down from darwin!! Exciting times!
Lookout for ex Nhill player, Wade "Chop" Thompson who I'm fairly sure signed for Padthaway. Good thing Josh Jarred doesn't play for Nhill anymore. Although he will enjoy playing against chop in the regular season for KLU!
From what I've heard Nhill has recruited a ruckman(Batson) FF CHB and a midfielder. Lost 1 Hayes, Whelan, Barber, Corstens, Ganz. Not sure of any others. Have had good numbers on the training track so far this pre season.
Is seers going to dimmy too? Looks like we might keep another even...
Ludacris!! But it explains why I didn't get any votes.
Also just thought I heard Loui Dalziel is coaching the Wimmera league next year and Deek Roberts is assistant ? Is this right or did I mis hear something?
H
His name is des. Was an assistant coach at Nhill a few years back when they didn't win a game. Didn't have the respect of the players at Nhill either.
Well guys less than a week til round 1.
My predictions
ladder

Dimboola

Premiers Min/murtoa

I reckon MUsgrove from Stawell is set for a big year. Finished of last season with 2 bags of 5 a 7 and a 9 in his last 5 games. Stawells team improving will only increase his chances of putting big scores on the board, unless he plays a different position.
I think min/murtoa have many avenues in...
Nice work.. Stawells got lots of ins. Any1 know much about there recruits? Obviously min/murtoa had some big name recruits. Haven't heard much about any other gun recruits at this stage. Ryan Mckenzie will be a gun for warrack but won't have enough around him for warrack to be competitive with...
What are people's thoughts on John Delahunty being named inter league coach? He seems a great bloke and leader but I'm not aware of him having any coaching experience? Will be interesting to see how the team performs
I've heard while there senior team was strong, there junior and reserves sides wouldn't be up to the competion of the Wimmera league. It's a shame they took the easy option in going to the district league.
