And who on the board is going to tell him that? Maybe Tredrea, but it’s pretty clear he just does what he wants and tells the rest of the Board what to do.
Im in the same boat as you, but he was clearly one of our main trade targets in a position we are lacking. For that reason alone id have him pencilled in with Mead the one who makes way.
I agree with your assessment on Finlayson and would have him ahead of Lord and Esava for the third...
Burton might be soft and lazy but he is undoubtedly AFL standard and a bloody good player when he’s on.
Similarly with Williams, outside of being painfully slow, he’s a very good player.
He’s contracted, do you recon he’s going to sit of out of the AFL until his contract with us expires?
No, obviously not.
He’d come back here and be motivated to put in an other good year to attract big money offers from Victoria.
All the more reason the club should have tell him to go to North. It is totally inexcusable we let a contracted player strong arm us into taking a lesser offer.
A bloke that a 3 time premiership coach doesn't want and a guy who can't get a game at Collingwood when they've got a mostly fit list and it only cost us a first rounder and the best half back in the game.... Let's get excited.
Don't forget Koch will extend Hinkley's contract because making finals is the pass mark and we wound't want the distraction of Ken being out of contract during finals.
Because they are all piss weak.
The place is a boys club and they are more concerned about looking after each others interests then doing what’s best for the footy club.
That’s why they will not be successful until there is a massive clean out.
So we have given up Houston and a future first for pick 13 and a bunch of guys who aren’t wanted by their current club, aren’t good enough to get games and a heap of late picks.
This is literally the worst trade deal ever.
