Young set up Heeney's mark on Luke Ryan's head by trying to switch with his right - I don't think he would've hung the ball up like that on his left.
Agree his left is elite, but it's obvious which is his stronger side.
Great debut for the young fella. Glides across the ground and was still running off his man in the last 5 minutes. He covered the second most distance on the ground, had the most sprints and most repeat sprint efforts.
He's going to run all day, and has good skills. We've got a ripper!
Why would the line move in our favour? The line's moved away from us as GWS started the week at $2.03 on TABTouch. I wouldn't be surprised to see them start faves.
My judgement is totally biased by my memory of watching them destroy us at optus last season, which looked like being the start of...
The debuts are flowing thick and fast at Fremantle, with ruckman Lloyd Meek unveiled last weekend, defender Chapman to get his chance now and Treacy likely to follow in round three.
But one player fans are still yet to see is forgotten midfielder Luke Valente, taken with pick 32 in the 2018...
The kit publicity yesterday got me excited for the season ahead!
Just hoping our new-look defence has had the chance to gel and that Ikonomidis is fit and ready to go.
Fornaroli would surely be pumped to play a competitive game.
Playing so well last season and finishing top of the league by a lot put our players in the shop window, which probably hasn't happened as much in the past with mid-table finishes. Comes with success that others, some with more cash, want our players.
I'm still bullish on our chances this year...
People using 'impact' as a verb when they mean 'affect'. Shits me.
For example, the proposed legislative change will impact the following organisations...
What? It's going to crash into them?
Maybe I'm just a stickler, but whatever, impact as a verb is trash.
It was the best of Ross, it was the worst of Ross, it was the age of footy greatness, it was the age of footy shitness, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, it was the season of Light, it was the season of Darkness, it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair...
Agree with the above. We are on an upwards trend over the last 3-4 years and there are unfortunately going to be blips along the way.
If we can keep the core of the current squad together there's no reason we won't be contending when this group all start to hit 150-200 games.
I enjoyed Wheelmen - will have to check out Tyler Hamilton's book.
He spoke at a conference I was involved in - got super loose at the sundowner after.
Currently reading Janesville by Amy Goldstein. Really really good about the great recession, and the decline of manufacturing from one town's perspective. Would recommend.
Similar themes to Hillbilly Elegy which I would also recommend but from a community rather than individual perspective.
I never ever read the Eagles board because I honestly couldn't care less what they have to say about anything.
If they're as ignorant on their board as they are in real life then I'm positive my life is better for not finding out "how other supporters are viewing things".
Sometimes you need to reply all when someone gets all passive-aggressive and CCs in half the world to their moan / whinge / pointed question.
And then you feel bad for the innocent victims who got CC'd into that rubbish to begin with because now they have to read my thorough reply.
It has it's place. Not in this case however: my staff member is organising a charter flight so sent an email to a bunch of people asking for 1) confirmation of their attendance, and 2) their weight so we can advise the charter company.
No need to REPLY ALL to everyone about your plans and your...
