Surely you realise it’s more complicated than this. If you think “bloodshed” ends with the release of hostages, what about;
Lebanon has no hostages
West Bank has no hostages and that region is being illegally settled by Israel
Syria is now being bombed by Israel, they don’t hold...
I haven’t seen anyone on here say that Jews are an insidious group that control everything. Most of the criticism is towards Israel and those that suck on Israel’s teet.
Entirely understandable when you observe the behaviour of governments and media towards Israel and what they are doing. Judaism being the dominant religion in Israel probably doesn’t help either.
I agree with your point though that we should avoid grouping a whole religion together. But I do...
I know people associated with the liberal party who vocally advocate for an acknowledgement of country before we start key company meetings. They are either going to;
A) switch their vote because this whole flag stunt demonstrates the pathetic mess of the current liberal party
B) live with the...
You post a lot of crap, repetitively, and are wrong, repeatedly, but I really hope you are right in this post. Russians need to overthrow Putin as hard as that will be for them.
They would try and get it back diplomatically anyways. I think they’d be better going the other way.
occupied territories become independent and overseen by someone other than Russia or Ukraine. Ukraine agrees not to join NATO. Russia ****s off.
Do you work in a corporate environment?
Women absolutely get hired above men due to them being women, and even if they are less capable.
FWIW - studies undertaken by some of our staff identify that women don’t want this (quotas) as it leads to more discrimination.
Sad.
Israel is a western backed country that is committing genocide.
Russia and Ukraine is west v Russia.
Sudan is local warlords v local warlords.
West has no direct involvement so probably in the too hard basket.
Sure, maybe it’s worth $26T but the two examples they provided don’t substantiate value beyond $1B (and I’m being generous with cost per T there for Li).
A mine may be sold “cheap” if the owner doesn’t have the resources or know how for development.
My point was to approach these numbers with...
500,000T of lithium isn’t very much. Not saying they don’t have more but that’s what the article reports.
Also privatising a $95M mine? Are they selling it cheap? I don’t know much about titanium but a camp site in Roxby downs is worth more than that.
The US are going to sanction EU countries (and hopefully us if our government grows a spine). They really are in self destruct mode now. China will you still be our friends?
You can easily look this up, Ukraine has the largest deposits in Europe. China currently control this market (look at the AVZ Australian owned mine and what China did in Africa to get control of that!). It’s very strategic for the US to get access to vast quantities of these metals.
It’s not unusual for a country that has in-ground resources to offer those in exchange for other goods and services. not sure why my comment was controversial Zidane98 it wasn’t intended to be.
Yer I didn’t say it was well thought through…
Also Ukraine are offering their in-ground resources to the US to attract their continuing supply of arms.
Putin would know that Russia isn’t going to be attacked by NATO.
He doesn’t want the US having access to and controlling Ukraine. Putin believes that Ukraine falls in the Russian sphere of influence. Not dissimilar if Australia tried to join with China, the US would have a big problem with...
Pretty clever there by Zelensky.
Not sure about the giving up of Ukraines resources (in ground minerals) hopefully they don’t have to sacrifice too much of their natural sovereign wealth. The US administration needs to be reasonable.
