'officially' adopted - they were using the nickname before we went into the AFL. There are about 1000 clubs, sporting and other, from the Port and le Fevre area using the 'Port Adelaide' brand - most have black and white as part of their colours - I don't think we should be bullying any of them...
Port Adelaide Pirates already exist and had that identity before we entered the AFL. I wouldn't be a fan of trying to bully them out of their nickname

maybe - playing the opposition's song never used to be a thing pre AFL days. When you share a ground I get it, but it's just one of those irrational things that mildly irritates me. I like your home to be your fortress
