Be interesting to see if the Dogs put the cue in the rack and the Giants get a bit of percentage back. I don't think they ever do even when they don't need to smash a team. I'll give Bont and Bevo credit for having a ruthless attitude to winning it's other things there not as ruthless on.

2 generational forwards 1 very good ruck/forward and Gunners. These talls are not at that level yet.

Not Dear, wouldn't make much sense to have 1 as Sub to start the game if your selecting them all to play. 1 will be subbed out if anything sometimes during the game for a small.

Mass has pace, we would be pretty slow without good endurance runners with speed in Mass. I would rather CMac to sub and he comes on for a tall.

Obscure Players from the '90's and '00's.

Solid bump here but the only thing Paul Lynch is probably remembered for is being the other player involved in the collision with Richard Osborne @ the SCG the day he nearly died. Probably the scariest event on a footy field.

They may not beat the Saints. Think they are half a chance. Dogs can still lose to Freo who are a better team than the Giants IMO can't see the Dogs putting 80 points in a half on them.

Need to win 2 of 4 at least than we should be fine.

It was already behind us now it's at least 5 percent less. This result isnt the worst because it opens up the possibility of more teams missing not just us or the Dogs. Giants will need a big 2nd half to salvage something from the wreck.

Not necessarily, if they lose and than lose to the Suns that leaves them vulnerable also. We would than only have to win 2 of 4 to make finals as long as we either win well or don't lose by alot.

Looking again I'd suggest Cumming returning to the wing suggests Nicks will send Curtin back as extra cover. If that's what ends up happening Sam has struck the first blow without a ball being bounced.

Be interesting if we line up with all 4 talls on the ground unless Curtin goes back there is going to be a mismatch for 1 of our forwards. Perhaps Smith plays taller? (He's taller than people realise at 194) Otherwise there relying on getting the ball to ground and running it out. We must...

He's ok against somebody who's similar in size not players like Acres or Curtain. Acres is 190 plus he's never out marking him.

I don't listen to either of them just find the back and forth hilarious with how they interpret form etc. FWIW Cornes hasn't jumped off us and still thinks we are lurking ready to strike. If you listen to SEN.

He can become a best 22 player if he learns to be more physical when it's his time to go. That's where he flaws are at currently. You can't have a lightweight when it comes to tackling in a big final. If he understands the memo we may see him again this year otherwise he's a depth player.

    Preview Round 21, 2025: Adelaide v Hawthorn, 1 August 2025, 7.40pm @ Adelaide Oval

Think we can release the blue collar tag the next few weeks and show we can smash teams offensively. The narrative will change if they see it over and entire game. Both Cornes and King were gushing the first 40 mins last week when we torched the Blues moving the ball at speed. Imagine we start...

You listen to their supporters and they talk like he's untouchable. Even this year when he's been up and down they still see him as a lock for AA it's bizarre. He's not the reason they are 4th it's their draw and Smith and Holmes.

And he didn't hide it either. Very openly discussed it yet the media treat it with crickets, because it's Collingwood. Just like alot of their players.

The Run Home 2025 - Project Your Optimism or Pessimism Here

We can afford to lose 2 if Giants lose. They still have the Suns to play @ Metricon which I think they lose. We lose tomorrow night we need to halve Pies and Lions games which is definitely achievable to be safe in the finals. Dogs cannot afford to lose more than 1. They than have to rely on...

The Run Home 2025 - Project Your Optimism or Pessimism Here

Giants win it basically guarantees us finals as long as we win at least 1 more game. If Giants lose they have GC to play still so they could end up with 8 losses which means we lose 2 games but still end up in front of them because our percentage is a tiny bit better. 60-40 wanting the Giants to...

Why not, in a couple of years he should be utilised in that role because of what he brings. Mitchell obviously feels the same way otherwise he wouldn't have given him the task the other week.

    Preview Round 21, 2025: Adelaide v Hawthorn, 1 August 2025, 7.40pm @ Adelaide Oval

We can get away with Scrimshaw basically trying to cut them off down the line as Sis can take Walker. Our backline can handle theirs with 1 less tall down there right now it's the least of our issues.

    Preview Round 21, 2025: Adelaide v Hawthorn, 1 August 2025, 7.40pm @ Adelaide Oval

I wouldn't be surprised either Sis or Scrim push up to a wing to protect Massimo when the ball down the line is coming in to compete with Curtain. Force the ball to ground so Mass can utilise he's strengths. CJ is probably the best option for that role if he worked on his deficiencies and became...

That's fine this time around, if Day gets off the chain than Nicks has a decision to make what he will do. I honestly think he goes to Day as he IMO can rip the game apart more likely than Newk. Voss sent Hewitt to Newk early last week but very quickly shifted him over to Day when he realised he...

If Lewis gets continuity he could easily have the same impact Thilthorpe has had since returning from Injury this year. Both injury prone up till this year and we're now seeing Riley become a force we all knew he would be because he's injury free ATM. Both big power forwards for their respective...

3 dollars on Sportsbet is ridiculous for a team sitting 5th 1 game behind Adelaide and on their day can beat anybody. I get it The Crows are super tough to beat over there but I highly doubt they are significantly better than us which is what the betting implies. I'm ready to silence the...

We could use Calsher as a backup in the middle of the ground and Lewis in the forward line even without Chol. Cal looked alright against Port in that role he's leap is similar to Chol.

No Sicily or Scrimshaw back there that night. We had Weddle playing on Tex, Scrimshaw will take Tex tomorrow night. Sicily played he's best game all year last week too. Our side on paper is much stronger than last time minus only Weddle.

Wouldn't read too much into our form either, it could be the first time we run with the 4 tall forwards and only the 3rd time all year our first choice midfield group will be playing together. We saw a bit of it in full flight early last week when we put the Blues to the sword. I reckon it could...
