From what I'm gathering, there's got to be a reason why Carrara get "sledged by clubs", "picked on by umpires" and feel the need to back up all there dirty events during games with retaliation. I have only seen one game this year that Carrara have played and it was indeed grubby, and yes you...
Can't say I agree mate, I also watched the game from the side line. I did not see the incident ( if it even happened ) where #12 was only retaliating. But from what i did see, the bloke struggles to run with the footy without sticking his elbows up. I'm not sure if you blokes at Carrara...
Yep, Souter has been back in, and Hayes been playing a few good senior games throughout the season. Lal possibly out due to injury. As for the 2 player's coming up, not sure as there are a few players putting pressure on the selection committee.
There are certain reserve player's that have been pushing for a senior spot all year. Training on a weekly basis, and playing good footy. The spot was filled faster than it was vacant. We don't eat our own but reward player's that deserve to play senior footy!
Yes unfortunately suffered 2 season ending injuries on the weekend. No signs of Cam Heath, but can say we are not fussed as the position will open up to players with more experience and confidence. Average young player, and we need more commitment which he did not have.
Haha, your a funny bloke. At this point, the players not wanting to play QFA had already left, along with the senior coach and 21 of the senior players from last year.
You should know this considering the meetings and pre-season game you attended. Yes we would of not been competitive in QFA...
The club and the players could not express how much we wanted to play in qafa a. Afl q gave us the option to play qfa north. Or pull out our senior side all together and keep the 3rds team. Which conclusively what we were left with playing Friday night footy.
Yeah mate, no doubt that there is other strong sides. It's obviously going to be a very intense finals for those top teams. Zillmere continuing to draw players this late in the season. Noticed 3 or 4 Pine players have been recently cleared to play there too.
Can't speak for zillmere, woodsman...
I don't see them losing a game for the rest of the year mate. Looking at the draw, there is a very good chance they will go into finals undefeated. They probably should of never been put in QAFA B, they would of been just as competitive in QAFA A. But thats not up to me.
Yes mate, it's work commitments. Has to work 3/4 weekends each month. The assistance coach and the coach worked closely together, in the pre-season, i dont see it having an impact on the season. Some straight kicking wouldn't hurt!
Yeah mate will be good to see these local clubs that have been around for ages, like Kedron, Mayne and of course Zillmere improve. Great history and culture can go along way!
I'm quite sure at the moment they have little intentions moving up a division. Tiger G was just asking for some opinions! But yes, they will need depth
Correct, and considering the players that zillemere have received since round 2 are majority old heads, i don't see them contributing more than a season.
Yeah i know mate, getting pretty ridicules. Talking to the contractors a
Hopefully this is the last flooding for the season! Ground still recovering from last weekend, with some luck we will have a ground to train on by next week. Moreton Bay lions have gifted us with there second ground this...
When did C. Brown make the move to the Tigers? I would of assumed he would of stayed loyal to the Hornets... (But personally, definitely would NOT add him to the list)
Would love to see D. Brown have another crack at footy! Great young talent, pity about his injuries!
If the Tigers feel ready...
Redcliffe council are currently working on new bridges and better flow for the small tidal creeks that surround the Tigers ground. Considering the creeks swell with the slightest amount of rain its well over due.
Project has been going for ages, but once finished hopefully it stops future...
Damages are not looking the best. Alot worse than the recent flooding we had a month or so ago. I'm sure us Tigers would love the weak $1000 fine to help assist with the damages!
