If there is a fine with each continuing forfit do the clubs get a discount so they can pass it onto players who paid for a full season. If not then aflq double dips here. I get that one off forfits happen but 2 clubs forfeiting from round two and three impacts the whole season.
Got f all to do with this thread. But question there are 2 clubs in div 1 women's that will forfit the twos every round for the rest of the year. Is there some sort of fine or something. Seems unfair to other clubs not getting a game and paying fees for a full year of footy.
Yep playing good footy. But there's still a long way to go and so much can happen before finals.
It's the club that gets there in good shape will have the advantage. But atm Redcliffe looking good.
This conversation about stacking a 3rds side is pointless.
Any club that has a thirds uses it to get blokes a game who miss on twos that weekend or 3rds helping fill in the 2s if needed.
If a club has three teams and the focus is on winning a 3rds flag then the culture there would come into...
Agreed about the oval.
Maybe they were going to spend thursday getting it done. But lots of rain and had to mow wet grass on friday morning. In the current climate if your not doing it weekly it gets out of hand quickly. I'll cut them some slack on that one. But was hard to see lines.
Absolutely agree the difference between qfa and qafl Colts was chalk and cheese. I fully support them going to a higher level that was even when qfa Colts was still in play.
The best kids were always going to qafl but I'm still curious how many out of about 200 plus in qfa are still playing. I...
I don't deal the cards mate I just play the hand I'm given.
Now it's time to move on and I have answered the questions to best of my knowledge with respect to all parties.
Good luck everyone and hopefully we will be talking about on field stuff soon.
As rough as the prickly end of a pineapple mate. But the lads and myself have been welcomed by another club. The way they have taken us in is very humbling. So for that we are excited and grateful.
Thanks mate and what it did do was get some lads excited about playing again. Just a shame it's at a different place. But they will put thier heart and sole into it. That I can assure you.
They are ripping blokes and whoever gets them they won't let down.
Good luck to your club ad well hope you...
Mate here's that facts.
I had no role at the club at all and was having some time away from footy this year. Hadn't been anywhere near it.
Was asked 5 weeks ago if I could try and put a team together as they had plenty in the Saturday group and a few would be missing out on a game every week...
Let's just say the club I'm a life member of has run its course.
I'll be moving on with the lads that showed me loyalty. Wouldn't say disgruntled more like very dissaipointed for the lads I have given so much time. Players are the most important asset of any club. New places create new...
