I like how you say you have no involvement with VP Veal but you clearly do. But anyway hope this permit situation gets cleared up before finals.
Ipswich by 80
Roosters by 48
Wynnum by 1
Bond by 90
Pirates but haven't seen the team lists
Also wouldn't be surprised if Bond are playing in the qafl in a few years time. They basically have unlimited funding and the Uni will want to make it one of the premier afl clubs on the coast. Like what they've done with rugby although the circumstances are a little different
I get that aflq want to keep expanding which would work in regional areas but like you said in the SE merging clubs would strengthen the game more than building clubs. Doesn't make sense but that's just my opinion
Sorry Blocker Roach but I can guarantee you 100% that only carrara players played and the saints are in no way affiliated with coomera or any other club. They have great depth this season and results are starting to show that.
Goodluck this week against redcliffe
Yeah surely Bond can play this game at home then at Redcliffe next time. Bond's field should be available (unless soccer is on) and i think they've had a few away games in a row anyway.
Suns by 12
Pirates by 49
Eagles by 10
Bond by 29
Wynnum by 20
And as easy as that, pine rivers have lost all respect that everyone had towards them.
I still can't comprehend that you couldn't get 18 players... I mean who wouldn't want to play on ANZAC Day? And if your reserves were too scared to play seniors or too sore that's embarrassing. It's the...
Where do I collect my prize? But seriously Bond and Park Ridge looking really good and Ipswich could be in trouble.
Also word is that Hooper has done his hammy and will be out for several weeks.
Bond to have too much run for Vic point and will win by 60+
Park Ridge by 20
Roosters by 110
Suns by 10
And Carrara by 6 in an upset although is Hooper playing? Will be interesting to see what role he plays
Also i can see the buffs playing the first few rounds then eventually dropping down, making a mess of both this comp and qafab. Good luck to them though hope they get there
Have beenleigh and Logan always been in the same comp together? That area is a rugby league heartland so it must be hard coming up with 4 teams plus depth each season. Park Ridge isn't too far away either
Bond looking good but their depth will be tested once injuries hit and especially when the semester break comes as most of the southerners usually visit home. Plus Bond likes to schedule Saturday exams during the 2 exam weeks which will also be a challenge for them.
Who has the best/easiest draw? I see a few teams have 3 or 4 away games in a row which doesn't make sense. Looks like Carrara have to play at GM, Suns and Pine Rivers 3 weeks in a row
Bond Uni generally is made up of I'd say 90% of students, although most of them are from the southern states and young and generally pretty good quality.
Suns depth will really be tested. I've heard they are still recruiting which isn't a good sign now that we're already in March.
Carrara...
Surely the games won't go ahead though... Flooding, a 20 goal breeze, chance of injury and at the end of the day teams probably won't get much out of it anyway
Until the season starts you never know... Wouldn't surprise me if Carrara have picked up some quality players and the young ones from last year will keep improving. Beenleigh maybe less likely unless those young kids that have been talked are superstars. Numbers will also pick up as we get...
