Sharrod Wellingham
Apparently is keen to head back home to W.A at some stage.
Would he be worth having a crack at?
Could really compliment our midfield!
Will there be many rookies taken from WA or have most of the players rated highly enough been taken in the ND, the most obvious ones in my opinion are Sharrod Wellingham, Dean D*ck, Shawn Colbung who seem to have been unlucky to miss out on the ND im sure there would be others also.

Could the reason for so many Vic players being drafted in the past be due to the convenience of all ready having them in vic, as the old attitude was that players didnt want to leave thier home state, as it said in the draft review players these days are more willing to get up and move away from...
What do you mean 2nd guess?
that i was right with Sharrod Wellingham?
Where do you think that Brennan or Bennan as he is named in the inside footy?
Both did very well at SC
Bryce broke his leg at the start of the year, just after the state u18s trial game, so hasnt played any footy this year and i would say that his chances are quite slim, definately has the pottential though.
Why is there no information or talk about Wellingham if the rumours are hell go?
Could he be one that will be a smokie?
Does anyone know anything about him?
must be reasonable made colts team of the year

Wellingham and McNamara collided heads and both were unable to complete the game. it happened in the first 15mins also so was quite unlucky.
Mcnamara required surgery to fix nerves in his forehead and wellingham was severely concused

Victoria needs to get over its self its the AFL now (thats Australian Football Leauge for all you ignorant Vics), not the VFL there would be way more interstate players playing AFL and getting drafted in the top 10 every year if the Vics would just getter over themselfs
There will be could be a huge number of WA players drafted in 2006 as there is so much talent in the colts sides this year in the 1988 bracket , all that needs to be done to help these WA players is enough publicity and not just the 18s carnival, which is basicly the only way that WA players get...
