Daniel Motlop has made a mistake and has suffered the consequences. However, his mistake in comparison to the likes of the West Coast Eagle players and others are minuscule. Another example is the recently appointed Carlton captain and the very public fights that he has had in the past month...
I think Cubillo is a very underrated footballer. He was in the NT best at the U/18's nationals and has played senior footy at the North Adelaide Football club. He was also awarded the Best on Ground in the Roosters reserve grade grandfinal win.
He can play any position and is very tough. He...
I think if you check the stats Cubillo was fairly dominate in the first half when the game was needed to be won. His tackling and one percenters were great to see. And his pack mark in the backline was superb.
Also if you watch the game the opposition coach tried to keep Cubillo out of the...
Djerrkura is a highly talented kid. Works hard and is more of an outside player, but will work in and under if have too. In the nationals made A/A. Sometimes trys to do to much.
Worth a look at draft time.:thumbsu:
I mentioned a kid named Cubillo who is playing ressies in the SANFL, and that Joe Anderson might be worth a chance.
Roe has played KPP for the lions???
I didn't mention Oliver? It sounds like you are a bit bitter with the NT players?
I saw the kids I mentioned play at the Nationals and...
A lot has been said about Joe Anderson and would be a good chance to be drafted either as a rookie or in the backend of the draft. Plays senior footy in Darwin and was the standout for his club on their way to a premiership.
Josh Cubillo very tough strong bodied kid can play tall and is a...
You guys are kidding? In Div 2, Tassie got 2 guys in the A/A and they were lucky to come third. Come on lets not be biased and look at all teams otherwise no point in posting.
The NT had some guys who should of walked in the A/A and be considered for the draft before some of these guys...
I watched the NAB cup this year and IMO I think that David Armitage is right up there. :thumbsu:
He racked up heaps of quality possessions and rarely wasted them. Its unfortunate that 2nd division players don't get the recognition that they deserve. Sure the 1st Division is higly rated but...
Its strange that in Div 2 the NT came second with 2 wins and only gets one AA rep. Tas gets 2 and the NT beat them by 6 goals??? Very disheartening for those boys who have prepared and played hard to win AA selection.
Qld were harder at the ball than the NT. The NT back 6 played well. no. 11 for the NT was very hard at it and very good in and under. He took some telling marks in the last line of defence. He also played on the ball and won a few centre breaks.
Junior is a very good outside player. Nathan is also a good outside player, however, Last year he was picked in the NT U/18's team but did not play cause he was homesick? Hopefully he has overcome this as clubs would be hesitant to use a draft pick?
Stewie is a very physical player for his...
I think your comments could be a little bias towards your club. Also I think you are a bit harsh on the likes of Mcleans, Motlops. I think that these kids have talent and are trying to better themselves. Aaron Motlop has just played in the SANFL Reserves premiership with North Adelaide.
Also...
Not sure about Nathan Djerrkura. He was selected to play with the NT in the U/18's nationals in Melbourne and chose not to play and returned home for the holidays even though he was in Melbourne for schooling. Might not be a priority for him.
Well you appear not to be very observant. If I recall probably the best mark of the game was on the wing scoreboard side.
You are a bit harsh in your comments, I have seen Cubillo play at either end of the ground for both RC and the NAFC (U/17's) as well as onball and in the ruck on...
Thats a matter of an opinion. What I saw was cubillo taking pack marks over bigger players and in and under and rarely losing the hard ball contest. Elliot got his usual kicks on his own.
SHC may have won the game, however it was played in halves and if Rossi had kicked straight game would...
The Panthers had the 2005 McCallum Medallist James Boyd and up forward, key duo Chris Murray (76 goals for the season) and James Turner (55 goals) so I would say that Norths backline must have done a fairly good job in containing these key forwards.
What about all the non-indigenous players who want to return home? Whose offering them support? All players face the predicament of being home sick and wanting to return home not only the indigenous ones.
There has been many players return home because of this, eg. Nick Davis, Daniel Chick...
