Qld were harder at the ball than the NT. The NT back 6 played well. no. 11 for the NT was very hard at it and very good in and under. He took some telling marks in the last line of defence. He also played on the ball and won a few centre breaks.

Cubillo in the backline for Norths under 17's is fairly reliable and can either play tall or small. Rarely beaten.

North u/17's must have a fairly good side in the way they won the premiership. Also without their gun forward who was injured.

The Panthers had the 2005 McCallum Medallist James Boyd and up forward, key duo Chris Murray (76 goals for the season) and James Turner (55 goals) so I would say that Norths backline must have done a fairly good job in containing these key forwards.
