Why can’t opposition supporters just acknowledge that we had a great year? I hate all this ‘fluke’, ‘weak year’, ‘lucky’ sort of stuff. We finished 3rd. If we had have won a few games we should have then we would have finished 1st. We played every single other top 4 team in the finals and...
I actually think that RFC’s process based philosophy lends itself particularly well for long term success. I can’t see any reason why we can’t go Back-to-Back.
I’d really LOVE it if RFC made a huge effort for this. I mean they could do heaps of advertising and promotions. I know that costs $$$ but I think it would be worth it.
I have a dream that we will eventually a) Have the largest membership tally by far, b) That we will be the richest AFL club by far, c) That we will be perennial flag contenders and d) That maybe we will finally get some respect from the general public and the media!

But if you sign up in March don’t you have to either pay entirely up front or in 8 monthly installments? So it’s kind of a larger cash outlay than signing up for the monthly installments from November.
I have heard the rumours about Ben’s poor attitude but just out of curiosity, has this been confirmed by multiple reputable sources? The only reputable source I know of is when Lids said in an interview that Ben had a poor attitude (or something like that).
Does anyone know if NFL punters are paid well? I mean don’t they only come on for a few punts a game. Surely that wouldn’t command a huge salary (in relation to other players).
The only thing is Ben wouldn’t be playing in the NFL for a while if at all. If he is lucky he will go play College Gridiron for 4 years whilst completing a degree. Then perhaps if he is good enough he might get signed to an NFL team.
(I do understand that College Football still draws big crowds)
I am really struggling to understand the College Punter decision by Ben Lennon. I wish him all the best but I just don’t understand why a talented AFL player gives up his AFL dream to pursue a completely different sport. I wonder what Richmond told him in his exit interview...
I wonder what everyone thinks is the likelihood of us winning the flag next year. I personally think we are a chance but so are several other teams. I think it will be difficult to win again with essentially the same list and using the same tactics (in all likelihood).
Hello at RFC_Official
I have noticed that Dusty seems to be just about the only RFC player who you can buy individual merchandise for (except for a couple of Rioli things). Have RFC thought about extending that to other players? I personally would love something to commemorate Alex Rance being...
I agree. However, I don’t understand it. I love midfielders but honestly the best midfielder in the game is much easier to replace than the best defender in the game (in my opinion).
I always wonder why discussions about Alex Rance are limited to ‘is he the best defender’. Surely, Alex Rance has to be in the discussion for the best player of any position in the league right now. And perhaps he could even be in the discussion one day for GOAT for any position.
Am I the only one who is sick and tired of the extreme underrating of Trent Cotchin?
On-field:
The man is a fantastic inside mid who fights like a wolverine to win the ball. He provides a touch of class all over the ground. He can provide a great target up forward when resting. He is a Brownlow...
