Im a fan of Oakleigh Chargers bottom age players and hope that they do well next year. They have a great crop of bottom age players without reeling of names but look to have at least 10 players bottom age each week in the home and away season which should help them out for next year
Dean Kelly=GUN and there is no doubt about that...definately deserves screening.
Not only a highly skilled footballer but a great bloke in general, my fingers are crossed that he goes far in his football career
Have played against him and totally agree...Heard that Oakleigh had tried to get him down there but not exactly sure how they went about it or the full story on it.
Thats a stupid thing to say. One player doesn't bring a whole team into a grand final. To say such a thing is pathetic just because he has been apart of a team that hasn't reached a GF recently. How many one man teams have you seen in previous grand finals?
Unfortunately he made a comeback game for his club side (Bulleen) the week before his TAC comeback and killed it on the wing with his thumb still heavily strapped up against my team.
Agree with you on Dean Kelly being the other likely to get drafted at this stage but can either of them be...
what is the exact date of this carnival and is it just over one weekend (interested to know becuase a few guys in my league may not play then. Does anyone have the final metro squad or know which northern and oakleigh players made the squad?
very suprised either of them even trained with the 18s. played against both of them this year and with them this year. Neither of them are great. Can somebody tell me how a kid who can't even make his schools 1's gets a game with Chargers?..bit of bull******** if u ask me. Sam is better but not...
has he even played an under 18 game for chargers yet? he has only just started training with them again as of Tuesday. played with him on the holidays but don't know him very well..heard some funny stories about him though. i reckon he is a good player and would hate to play against him.
I play for Tally Ho Bulldogs, in the colts. Do you play? Yeah it would be cool if they had it up to colts for interleague. My team joined Yarra when I was a bottom age colts player so I have never expierenced representing Yarra. I had heard that the DVFL is quite a good league also.
thats why I asked if anyone might know of previous representative results between leagues which might give me a better idea of the stronger competitions?
I have friends who watched last year and previous years of division 1 and 2 grand finals in Moorabbin Saints league and rated the standard pretty poor in comparison with the Yarra league but I can't say I saw it myself.
Does anyone know of previous representative results between leagues which...
I know it was a long time ago since you posted this message but I did an advanced search on YJFL to see if anyone has talked about it in this forum. I have played against the Gazzo that you mean from Beverley Hills recently and in the past as well as played with and against Batsi. Who do you...
hey all, my name is Scott. I just signed up to this because a friend uses it and I thought it was just the perfect thing to distract me even more from even attempting to start homework! I play footy at U/17 level and love it. My AFL team is Collingwood even if we have had a terrible year this year!
