Hi all,
This is simply a quick message to say thanks for the memories, but I am moving on.
A far more detailed explanation is posted here: http://www.bigfooty.com/forum/threads/goodbye.1048454/
I would just like to stress what a ****ING GREAT community you have been over the years and...
After 14 years on BF it is time to say farewell (yes, my account states 2001, but I was on a previous account in 2000, which was deleted long ago).
I initially started posting about AFL on the old USENET boards (the “wild west” of forums), but like other BF long stays (Macca_19 and Asgardian)...
As one of my final ever posts on BF I just want to say I hope Tex recovers well and returns bigger than ever. AFL needs more players who have character, skills and bring fans to the game. Get well soon Tex.:thumbsu:
Just leave this here, shall I?

Their white selection policies are well documented, as is their supporter's desire to replace the Navy with Black in their guernsey and it seemed strange for them to draft Matt Crouch (Brother to Brad Crouch) at last year's draft when no other team rated him... perhaps the following offers the...

Good to see Benny fitting in well at Norf... only taken 1 season for him to become the weakling target everyone picks on:

LOL at the little hissy fit (throw the cup and complain about laundry) at the end. How long before he...
I agree with this... He has been laying/sleeping on his horde for centuries (?), so he is going to take a while to get going... but on the other hand The Hobbit is a children's story!!! It wasn't created to withstand the analysis/reviews of internet geeks and forum trawlers casting a critical...
Yeah... hard to pick where/how they could have ended it. It certainly felt like the end of FotR all over again: they both finished with major characters about to start their journey to their next destination (Frodo/Sam to Morodr and Smaug to Lake Town).
Sorry mate, but you lead us to the media in order to sure up your claim of PAFC's "dirty deeds" and "betrayal"... when it is simply the opinion of a disgruntled Crows' sympathiser.
Typical example of Crow supporters believing the shit they're feed... take the opinions of a SANFL "boys club" journo as dogma.
Porter seems well overdue for another pro-Crow book (must be waiting for the Crows to come good):
- Crows Tales (1994)
- Something to Crows About (1995)
-...
And as I highlighted, the SANFL have betrayed us too... there is no such thing as competition loyalty and you're delusional if you think it should exist. The SANFL, and the clubs, are all driven by their own personal-gain agendas. We looked after out interests in the 89/90, SANFL looked after...
OK OK... it took me 15 minutes, but I made it to "this" and my head started hurting, stomach started grumbling and I got all dizzy. I need a break, so I am off to the pub for lunch, and a pint(s), and will continue when I return.
