I reread my comment and am mystified by your confusion.

Who is turning their back? Victorians are getting assistance.

Besides, NSW didn't set itself on fire anymore than Queensland flooded itself, but the Victorian state government weren't so blameless reintroducing a virus into the community, killing over 700 people and turning the state into an economic basket case.

How can you charge someone for something they might have done if given another five minutes? Surely he either did it or he didn't.

The Libs or Feds have been providing financial support. 60% of jobkeeper was being poured into Victoria last I heard. With so many states shutting their doors on each other, Australia is a fractured country. What more do you want from the federal government than what they have already given?

You obviously knew the answer. Why couldn't you just tell him without the unnecessary snipes?

If they got the story before channel 9 they probably would have taken a similar approach to the topic.

Blame the state government rather than the feds. Any storm coming the way of Victoria is due to the hotel quarantine errors and the resultant world record lockdown and shutdown of business. Why should the Libs keep shelling out money because the state government has made serious errors of...

I have watched you from afar. You seem to have a knack of creating enemies. Can't understand why!

Not much smog in Melbourne. It's hardly an industrial city.

    So it’s come to this.

You could always relocate. There must be countries where doctors don't have to wear full body armour.

Don't feel sorry for them now. Wait till they're actually out. Don't forget we can get bowled over like ten pins by injury.

Certified Legendary Thread Q: Why did Freeman Leave St Kilda? (A: He was delisted)

I never saw him play or not that I remember. Poor guy has had a disastrous career and it is hard to evaluate what he might have done with reliable hamstrings. I feel sympathy for him.

A draft over 2 days is utterly ridiculous.

And if he had selected Quaynor and Kelly his role in the phantom draft would have been very boring.

    Collingwood Board Phantom Draft

I am going to have to pull out. Got too much on at work next week now. Good luck with it.

    Collingwood Board Phantom Draft

I would do it if you can't get the numbers. What I did last time was ask for suggested player types on the club board I was representing then went to the phantom drafts etc for info re those player types. It's a shame Collingwood are not going to be so active.

Player Watch Dayne Beams (Retired 2020)

Any chance of staying on topic?! There are those among us eager to welcome Dayne back into the fold without having to weave our way through Holden, Jack, Ralph, Simon, Piggy, the British navy and so on to get to the man of the moment, Dayne Beams. Beamsy mate! Welcome home!

Actually no. I did raise that possibility in another thread yesterday when I was suggested that tradedraft might be in for a dull time next year. There may be a player or two in demand who we are prepared to release by this time next year.

C'est la vie. If so it must be, then non-existence in 2019 it is.

However you would kind of like if they had worked it so we will get both no matter the circumstances of the bidding. Besides several posters here seem to believe we have the points to cover Quaynor and Kelly, even if securing them involves going into deficit.

Opinion Beams Trade [Officially derailed: Now disussing the folly of gambling, net negative players and the merit of Sier]

Just trying to hose down any unnecessary expectation. Unless of course we trade someone out for a 1st round pick. Nothing better than top fresh talent i.e. Stephenson, De Goey. While Beams is with us we need to win a premiership. To steal a line from 'Saving Private Ryan', my advice to him is...

Your username suggests that trade time is your raison d'etre (your reason for being or living). The next draft, then the next trade period and draft will be dull without top picks. Maybe change your name so you don't feel you need to live up to it. Take a rest from drafts and player swapfests.
