Been sub a number of times, 6 in total
Pushed out of the middle a few times (when GWS have all there mids)
Combined, would effect his numbers considerably.
What i do know,
He's a tacking machine
He wins clearances as good as anyone if he's allowed off the tagging role
Gun tagger yet will...
Was giving serious consideration to Bankers Choice this morning and seeing so many runners sweeping home i am liking him more. This is based on his second up form where he has gone strong in better fields then he faces today.
With Battle going to the hawks that position could very well fall to Arie Schoenmaker. Caminiti the other who could take that spot.
Should only improve as this was year one. VFL numbers often hit 30 disposals and he's a booming kick.
150k profit likely if he starts the season in the team imo.
Don't think the interest is anywhere near what Port fans want it to be.
Saints have Sinclair, NWM, Hill, Henry and Wilson who are all quality off the wings and half back. Hastie as he develops will join that group.
Houston would be nice but not top 10 pick nice.
No surprises either to see...
Win/Win
Hawks get a solid swing man (saints did not use him that way yet i am sure the hawks will) with many years of service to give while giving up nothing but salary cap space.
Saints "hopefully" get that band one compo to give two shots at landing a quality mid that is needed for the now...
Not a list need and i would take NWM and Sinclair over him in an instant.
His age profile is nice but that will be countered by Ports asking price.
Only way it works is a player swap imo.
Houston + Ports first for King i would do.
I am with you.
His numbers lately are massive for the low TOG he has had.
This years pre season he was probably our standout player and this is just year one. Really looking forward to what he can do with another pre season. In his junior tapes he looked like Bont.
A lot wrong at Essendon from thinking it's ok to mass inject your players to Dodo hanging around taking charge of your list for decades which has been a massive fail.
The bombers are a badly run club and so are we.
