Thanks Gun sorry I have upset you.
Was talking to a chap that lunches with some industry folks including north personnel and one associated with tigers and they discussed poor Gibbo and this bloody knee. Fingers crossed he recovers fully but there seems to be an issue that surfaced a fortnight...
This kid has tremendous skills and poise. Can mark and spoil equally as well and will be a vital link player. We are lucky to have him and in years to come new players will be playing the Trainor role as opposed to him being compared to others. He will be different but good different.
Am I hearing things correctly that Gibcus had a set back 2 weeks ago that casts doubt on his season and real concerns about his long term future from the 2024 ACL ?
It was told to me that his knee was a bad ACL and that he might never fulfill his talent due to it ie he will be limited.
Sounded...
This kid will be a star but not in 2025. As Blair said it is about projecting with recruiting. Some others might perform better in 2025 but when matured and fit this kid will be a handful. Smillie will be a bigger handful he will be a monster star.
Havent seen him in the training clips could be crook.
Watched the national champs GF again and this lad had a few moments. Nearly took a sky scraper, did take a solid mark, showed great speed but his kicking was shotgun although he has got distance in his boot accuracy might not be his forte...
Can we please settle on how to pronounce his surname. His player mates call him Smill or smilly (think silly with an m) whilst other say Smiley. Which do you think it is ?
Smillie will be the best of the lot with Lalor a close second for impacting games. Jagga will get a ton of the pill with less hurt factor and FOS will get about 20 per game but not be anything special. Draper will be a good 200 gamer.
Smillie will be crushing blokes in about 3-5 years time and...
I think we will have a patch of solid performances that will result in a win or 3.
Lynch and Prestia make a big difference and who knows maybe Hopper will show he can play consistently week in week out.
The backline if structured correctly will be quite strong.
Usually you find some...
So much upside with Josh. His disposal was a bit scratchy in this video but the tools are there. My nephew trained with Ranges pre season and played with Chargers during the season and when I asked who was the standout player in the comp he laughed when i threw names like Smith, FOS, Langford...
We are going to love this guy in due course. He will be a big battler that will be there in the trenches, a forward version of nank and reminds me a lot of john longmire and if scott lucas was right footed then him also.
Lefau have met him twice and he is so good with his time for fans - my daughters fav. that being said his footy is good novelty value but after 2 ACLs i reckon he will be nearly cooked.
We had to regenerate our forward line it was bare. Lefau is injured, undersized and let’s face it not much chop. Kosi is not any good, lynch is finished and Fawcett is a project. Ryan can’t mark and gray might be ok but who knows.
This kid can mark and is a bit bigger than faull and Armstrong...
