Someone somewhere else has said of CFC BF, "One of the best forums anywhere on the Internet." I'd like to give a shout out to the many contributors with thoughtful and positive comments and insights, and to the mods who do such amazing work in keeping this place running so well. May you all...
Hi Wick. I will miss you. Your contributions in terms of insight and knowledge has been a gift to this place. I get it in terms of words and actions not always matching what mind wants. But it's who you are on the inside that counts, and those close to you know this. In my line of work I say to...
I've liked the signings across the VFL, AFLW, and AFLM teams. Seems a low fuss, let's get on with it, solid foundation, future orientated approach. Expect same with SSP picks. Bring on 2025.
What a well spoken pair. Whatever they bring on field, I feel they're already contributing off field. Sound focused, hard working, humble, team oriented, and with a sense of joy.
Not sure if it's been posted, but I've enjoyed Day of the Jackal TV series. Eddie Redmayne does a good job, and Frederick Forsyth is one of the 32 producers...
Ummmm... thread title says jumper numbers post #35... FYI...
7: Jagga Smith
16: Ben Camporeale
21: Lucas Camporeale
22: Harry O’Farrell
26: Nick Haynes
28: Harry Charleson
41: Matt Duffy
Appreciating you thinking of possible SSP additions, but we only have 2 spaces, not 3.
I am liking the various best 23s in here. A few players I'll be taking an interest in are Moir, who I think if he can keep his body right, will be one consistently pushing for selection.
And besides Jagga Smith (who, along with everyone else, I believe is there from Rd 1), another draftee who I...
Just wondering re Matt Duffy. He's listed as an In on AFL website, and now allocated #41. When will the club be posting something to acknowledge Duffy formally on the list, and do we have a Matt Duffy thread here? Wishing him all the best...
Are Ison, Gresham and Clark all NGA possibilities for 2025? If so, and if we take any, where would they go in terms of draft placing, and what could they possibly cost in terms of draft picks?
Sorry to ask again, but does this make us
36 Senior players
4 Category A Rookies
2 Category B Rookies
Also, just my opinion, but I'd probably go 1 SSP, and then sees what might happen at MSD - possibly another player of quality like Cooper Lord...?
Appreciating the various comments and insights into HC. Seems like a really good addition. Go well, HC, and enjoy your time at the Blue Baggers because everyone looks better in....
Of the 4 train on players, the only one I'd be happy to see as a Rookie is McMahon. Durdin, M.Carroll and DGB, VFL at best and work at playing for a mid year spot if one becomes available. I'd rather another young developing player as rookie as now some of the perennially injured are gone.
For me, the next big LM challenge is when Charlie and Harry approach retirement. Next year they are in the 27 year old group. At what point, when, do we start to draft some KPFs to develop? 2026? 2027?
