In fairness to Matt, he did not say it like he meant it. More just to get a reaction and few giggles.
Like Arrow, I don't really get booing former player's. I actually hope he has a good career at the Roos, good luck to him.
I could be wrong on this, but have a feeling that it will be our young 'uns who will take us to the top four and the big dance.
Moir will be pivotal, if he continues his impressive pre season. H could absolutely transform our forward line. He is exactly
the player we have been missing the...
Have not been watching a lot of test cricket recently. However, did see more than enough of our debacle in Perth.
My 2 cents. Love Marnus, last chance saloon for him. Hope he can find form, seems rather doubtful.
Smith looks cooked as well. Both will most likely play, yet in all likelihood...
Seems to me that the mc will go with Weiters, Haynes, McGov, Saady, Cow and Newy. Probably a seventh defender on the
bench, maybe Ollie Hollands or Boyd against smaller forward lines. When matching up against taller forward lines then
Young should be considered. Going to be very interesting...
I am totally with you g man, on Kempy. He has proven to not be a natural defender and I hope to not see him in defence
ever again. However he is versatile and will most likely be used at both ends at different times. Up forward though is where
I see him flourishing. Needs to keep out of H...
I will back Jack to make a decent fist of his new position in defence. He is heart and soul, loves the navy blue. He would love
to play out his full career with us and become a premiership player as well. We will already see Dow, Stocker and now
Carroll playing for the aints next season...
Maybe big Lance can share some dietary advice with young Jagga. Something along the lines of, now don't take any notice
of what the club says about what you should need. Believe me, I have found that mouth-watering hamburgers and plenty
of KFC keep me in ripping nick.
So for such an even top seven, apparently you cannot fit a feather between anyone of them. It is now set in stone, we get
Jagga, Cows get their local lad. Tigs get the new Dusty and FOS to the Roos.
Maybe, or are their going to be some surprises in store. Anything could still happen I reckon...
No need to worry Dirty, reckon Austin has done a magnificent job to get us up to three.
Now he is just eagerly waiting to see who drops to us. We should end up with one of Jagga or FOS imo.
Jagga might be the safer pick and I do really like him. FOS has the so called x-factor and star quality...
I really liked Jack, happy for him to get another chance however. List management decision and I understand that.
He will have a solid career at the aints imo. If he can just build up his tank a bit and have a big pre-season he should play
every game for them. I will be watching the aints...
Feel for you Coona. Tough situation, hope things pan out better in the near future for you.
No doubt about it, the public system is not what it once was.
Agree, but clubs can be sneaky at this time of the year. For me, it is highly likely that Draper is very healthy. Cows are just
sayin' **** off and let us take our boy. I hope I am right, for the kids sake.
Jagga sure is the popular pick on here. Maybe, because many see him as the most likely of them all to end up in navy.
I do really like him and will not be disappointed at all if Austin calls out his name. However he does not have the toe of
Butters and seems to only have one position that he...
Sounds like you are not enamoured by the Jagga selection Arrow, fair enough. I share a similar concern and would much
prefer FOS, Lalor, Draper as they each seem to be capable of reaching greater heights imo.
Not to say that young Jagga will not be a terrific player, I think he will be. Does...
Maybe Austins preference is Finn, then Jagga. If somewhat surprisingly we miss out on both of them. We should then still
be able to get Draper.
My personal order of preference is Finn, then Sid, then Jagga.
Still four weeks to go. So far I have been totally intoxicated by Drapers pace. Then I was mesmerised by Jaggas
slipperiness. Now have settled on FOS, just think some of us are not taking his injury problems this year into account
enough. Having watched most of his '23 season highlights...
