His elbow has always been well within tolerance, probably straighter than a lot of more conventional quicks tbh.

Bumrah's hitting in their first innings looking quite valuable now

They've never not been important and we have neglected that area of our list

Yep we're definitely in Bumrah's head

All well and good running your mouth off when you're down the non-strikers end for the last ball of the day

Player Watch #7: Zane Duursma - out for 2024, undergoing shoulder surgery

It's almost like teams need elite players in a variety of positions to contend

Small forwards have been the most influential players in the last two grand finals. The idea that you can't use a high pick on them is odd.

Player Watch #9: Luke Davies-Uniacke [Part II] - '24 SBM - [Ch9] LDU's camp 'working hard to get a deal done'

Hope the Dees continue to plummet, otherwise 1-6 is a real possibility looking at the fixture. Dogs, Blues, Swans and two trips to Adelaide

Training 2025 Pre-Season - Standards are currently being driven

I appreciate your optimism but I suspect there's enough evidence to suggest our training standards haven't been elite for a while now. Hopefully it is in the process of changing.

Player Watch #35: Matt "The Swingman" Whitlock!!!!! - selected with Pick 27 in the 2024 ND - Welcome to North Melbourne Matty

Pav was a forward who moonlighted as a defender for a season or two

Player Watch #24: Tom Powell - signed thru 2026 - finishes 5th in the 2024 SBM.

Death, taxes and Chad potting Powell and somehow picking Phillips over him Nostra levels of not being able to deviate from an initial view

If we don't have looking down on St Kilda as they routinely win 8-10 more games than us, what do we really have?

At this point the lack of votes for Garner has to be intentional. She's in the best couple.of players on the ground every single week.

How many teams have been as bad as us for such a prolonged period? He's played in 21 total wins

We most likely get Whitlock with our original second though. So where our F1 ends up is very relevant.

List Mgmt. Brady Rawlings | Head of Football Talent (Recruitment, LM & TPP)

They're two of the most attacking, direct kicks of the footy in the competition though, which makes the trade off much easier. The issue we've had with Sheezel and Fisher in that role is the ball goes side to side a lot. At least with McKercher he would run and carry. As neat as Daniel is...

You can at least understand why they did it though, it just didnt work out. The CCJ trade on the other hand was a stinker at the time and one of many examples of Rawling being a poor and shortsighted negotiator.

The Dees got that deal done because they had a bunch of picks this year * could use for Kako points.

Coach Alastair Clarkson - NMFC Senior Coach - Coaching & Football Discussion

What's the point you're trying to illustrate? The second one probably seems better from a competitiveness point of view but would also likely destroy morale and result in us giving away a top two pick.

If we're staring down another bottom two finish after round 10 then I suspect a few people should be anticipating a tap on the shoulder, including the coach and head of football.
