Keen to see Leek get a go think we all really liked how he progressed in his 4 games at the end of his first year, hasn't gotten a look in since but hardly his fault.
Their ball movement is already pretty grim so missing 2 dangerous users like Saad and Gov is gonna hurt them even more, think we should have them this week
Harvey was awesome again, wonder if there's going to be any heat on Bedford's spot coming up soon. His pressure has been really good despite i50 tackles being down from last year and probably generally not as good as it was last year but still quality and then doesn't offer a whole heap as a...
I might be on an island here but anyone not think Whitfield's kickng isn't what it used to be? His running is still really dynamic and a big weapon but he just doesn't seem to open up play with his kicking anymore or fit things into really tight windows. Happy to put up with a player that turns...
Does feel like he is launching himself at the footy way more this year, translating to more marks but also just more contests in the air to bring it to ground as well.
Like Perryman but if a team can talk themselves into giving him a big money long-term deal then it's probably something I'd be willing to let him walk on. Don't love the injury history and it'd be a big commitment to a guy that isn't a top 10 player at the club. Really good player and hope they...
An all-time trade steal, to get one of the best key forwards in the comp for pick 54 is incredible. Hard to figure out a way where the trade could've worked out better.
Hogan and Tarryn faced completely different issues. Hogan faced the death of his father, consistent injuries, cancer, mental health issues and some issues with drinking however there was never concern of his character and whether he was a good person. Tarryn Thomas has done truly terrible things...
Yep so AFL stats get reviewed by multiple people throughout the game and then once again later in the week, VFL get reviewed in particular sections where staff have marked that they had trouble capturing all the information live
Maybe and if thats actually what's happening then thats fine but his preseason was uninterrupted right up until before the season started and he had a shoulder issue as well as a foot infection weird thing. That shouldn't really have too much of an impact on how he's able to prepare for the...
Harvey Thomas is a hell of a find, was solid and didn't look out of place his first 2 games but was great yesterday, really impressive. His flexibility to be comfortable as a crumber i50 and then able to push up a bit to the wing and be a user in space is impressive
Pretty good win, went about as expected thought we were probably more impressive against North but regardless tougher place to play and was certainly good enough.
Harvey Thomas! Was so good, 21 and a goal and could've had a few more, couple of assists as well just so consistently with the ball...
Performance similar to last week hopefully the scoreboard isn't so flattering and we can put on a huge margin. Hopefully Hogan can fill his boots and take advantage of these matchups for the Coleman down the line. Port set the bar at 50 last week so should be aiming to knock that over.
Would like to see Mcmullin get a chance if Wehr gets dropped was really encouraged by his shift as the sub against the pies, seems to be right on the cusp.
They're terrible, we're one of the best in the comp anything less than a smoking is underwhelming. Would imagine they roll with the same side again, maybe play around with who the sub will be. Think McMullin or Jones aren't far off if all went well with Jones in the VFL game. Another opportunity...
Scoreboard proably doesn't tell the story with how accurate they kicked but that was a big old ass kicking today, moved the ball at EASE today up and down the ground, ball movement is just flowing so well even there was a drop, smother, hand ball or a ball hits the deck they find a way to keep...
Hogan trade could not have worked out better in our dreams, traded so little for him and he's a genuine number 1 key forward target and outside of the first year (fingers crossed) has been fit. One of the best moves of the last few years by anyone.
Kingsley was quite complimentary of XO postgame so would imagine he's not really in danger of being dropped, been a bit of a journey with him hopefully now he's able to find a consistent spot rounding out the 22.
Second half of last year was the best Riccardi had ever looked and the hope was that he was going to be able to carry that over into this year and continue that form all the way through however seemed like he was the Riccardi of old this past week. 4 touches and is completely uninvolved only 1...
Would do just about anything to get JUH, huge contract and premium picks would be fine. Super talent would be incredible to pair him with Cadman and it's also great Cadman insurance if that doesn't work out.
So frustrating for Callaghan and Jones to keep having these setbacks, Jones yet to even play a game where stats have been recorded! Always something with Finn as well, foot and shoulder issues have popped up a few times already 3 years in. Sucks we're not going to see Leake and Gothard for a...
Not sure how much credit can be attributed to Mooney when those guys are still in their developmental stages where there's going to be some natural progression regardless of whos coaching them but probably can't be a bad thing to have Mooney around the club every now and then
Yeah definitely but that was more of a forward we haven't really seen this midfield part of his game before. Excited for him, hope this is the year it clicks for him and he can be a consistent part of the team.
Pretty happy with how that all went, expect this team to dominate a lot of teams this season just like that.
Was impressed with Riccardi's marking, had 2 or 3 really strong grabs in the air in 1v1 situations hope that's something we can continue to see develop this year
Cadman is definitely...
