Riley Hay was captain of WA for the school boys, he’s a medium size defender that looks almost certain to captain Subi futures this year. Not sure there’s many others worth noting though

Toner was impressive at the schoolboys championship. Very strong and can play forward and midfield, probably a Jake Stringer type

Brent’s son, showed ability through his state carnival but at times tried to do a little bit too much

WA list looks pretty accurate. There’s a few boys that were stand outs in trials that missed the squad due to injuries or pre-planned holidays that would be interesting to see at a higher level also Lucas Mannion and Liam Deckert are two that probably would have been in the squad

Angus Abbonizzio was also an underager for WA in the u15 and definitely didn’t look out of place

Definitely came across as a consolation. He was handy but definitely better players across the carnival

A few of them may be incorrect as some of the boys had already swapped jumpers and had to borrow off teammates for the photo 😂

Not in the WA game, I am WA biased though. Not many stand outs in the whole game, was quite scrappy. Although 2/3 of them made the all Australian squad

Pretty tricky conditions with the wind. WA defensively very impressive after a slow start. SA blew a few opportunities in the first 7 minutes and kept WA in it. Lucas Robinson was outstanding for WA marking everything across half back. Thatcher Simmons tried hard without things going his way...
