The thing that annoys me about the West is its grammar!!
Fremantle has not Fremantle have
Fremantle and its season not Fremantle and their season
How can a state paper get away with that?
Question:
Rookies who have been axed by their clubs, do they not get counted as delisted players if they re-nominate for the draft?
Ie: Have players like Clayton Collard nominated but not been put on that list?
If that makes sense.
Thanks.
For Fremantle to be successful, Pavlich must play forward.
Moving him into the midfield would deprive the side of a dominant forward figure and, not to mention, 60 or 70 goals a season.
The best option for Freo is to build a midfield around Sandilands and let Pavlich provide a reliable...
Hello all,
I am coming over from Victoria in August and want to watch the derby match?
I see tickets come out on July 23 and would like to know where is best to sit?
I have a Victorian Freo membership? Will I get in for free at Subi?
Thanks.
Thanks for your help.
Went on the Dockers website today and there was an article containing a brochure for Vic membership. It was only just put on.
Ta.
As a Victorian fan, I want to sign up as a member next season.
I have looked on the club website and there are no details of Vic membership as yet.
Can anybody advise me as to when details will come out and if there is anywhere else I can get this info?
Thanks in advance.
5 - Tarrant -- worked hard and ran to provide options. He was also creative in the forward half and ensured numerous goal kicking opportunities. Taz is impressing me more with each outing.
4 - Hasleby -- I don't know why the WA press jumped on him during the week after one average game...
Thank-god I have Austar, otherwise I'd be lost on the fortunes of Freo's season.
A meagre five Freo matches will be shown on free-to-air television in Victoria this season - one on Ten and four on Seven.
It is an absolute disgrace. Collingwood have been given 19 matches on free-to-air and...
Adelaide: No-one springs to mind.
Brisbane: As above.
Carlton: Nick Stevens - most overrated player in the league. Soft and constantly turns the ball over.
Collingwood: Anthony Rocca - second behind Stevens in the overrated stakes. They say he is the key to Collingwood's success, this must...
I agree totally. Imagine if an anglo-saxon round was introduced? There would be outrage, because it would be deemed as racist. The double standards are laughable.
Isn't it sort of like the Mal Michael incident?
Michael quits club then comes out of the shortest football retirement ever recorded to don the Essendon guernsey.
Clarke retired at seasons end after a sublime career at Adelaide, is now nominating for the pre-season draft after after the...
On a whole winning nine matches in a row, making the top four and winning our first final. Fremantle were unbeatable and, living in a town of 12,000 where I am probably one of two Docker supporters, it was fantastic!
Agree with Masai with 'that tap' - pure brilliance.
Sirengate was terrific...
Bit late as results have been tallied, but my top five are as followed:
5 - Matthew Pavlich
4 - Byron Schammer
3 - Paul Hasleby
2 - Ryan Crowley
1 - Luke McPharlin
Special mentions to Webster, Sandilands, Johnson and Bell.
Won two Mourish Medals, yet due to his size doesn't appear on the radar of any AFL clubs. Could he get a chance late in the draft or in the rookie draft?
Are the other two boys Carlton decided not to use a father/son pick on in Tomi Johnston and Jake Williams likely to be picked up in either the draft or rookie draft?
Whilst I agree with the fact aboriginals are treated unfairly at times I encourage you all to try and live in a town where their rights are deemed superior to anglo-saxons and where the law neglects to charge them in fear of being deemed a rascist.
It's a two way street.
