Preview 2024 Elimination Final Carlton vs Brisbane Saturday 7th September 7:30PM AEST @ The Gabba

I completely agree here - Martin gets those 6 deadly touches in the game, 2 important goals in half a quarter that is really all that we need. Martin is calm, silky and has that finals finesse - I know that he isn’t fit and it’s a gamble, but this isn’t the same conversation we had a year ago...

Autopsy 2023 Round 23 Wounded Blues Soar Back Into The 8

Hear me out… Eagles beat Cats (because why not? This stuff happens) Dons beat Lions (pride game for dons, lions are slightly off) GWS beat Dogs (GWS hungry to secure that home final) We beat Saints by enough more than Hawks beat North anddddd….. Top 4 baby :p:p:p

Autopsy 2024 Rd 22 Blues finals hopes sink like a stone

He might get good in the future - but no idea why he starts every week , he is not fit for AFL right now. People saying ‘’he gives it his best try’’ are the problem, the pat in the back for effort garbage won’t win us flags.

Autopsy 2024 Rd 22 Blues finals hopes sink like a stone

Hear me out This isnt a list issue. Popular argument that everyone outside our top 5 needs to go. I reckon many of our 6-15th best players would get strong contracts in other clubs. I don’t think we are crap outside of the top 5 if you scrutinise each player’s individual skills. This isn’t a...

Preview 2024 Rd 21 Carlton vs Collingwood Saturday 3rd August 7:30PM AEST @ MCG

For a 202cm professional footballer , that’s a big problem and perhaps something coaches should work on with him is my point….

Can somebody explain to me why Pittonet cant or isn’t ever there to mark a football? He is 202cm and averages 1.4 marks a game (usually uncontested)… either his positioning is terrible due to bad coaching or he just doesn’t know how to go for a grab , and this is a massive hole in our game...

Preview 2023 Semi Final - Carlton vs Melbourne Friday 15th September 7.50PM @ MCG

OUT: Mckay and Martin IN: Kennedy and JSOS. Would also be open to switching Fog and Motlop (Fog becomes sub). Mckay and Martin are contested markers - I think Kennedy used as a half forward at 190cm with a good set of sticky hands, and JSOS as the third ruck/tall would both compliment the...

Preview 2023 Elimination Final - Carlton vs Sydney Friday 8th Sept 7.50PM @ MCG

I think we win this comfortably Hopefully McKay has a better game , I’m not worried Give bam bam a run his aggression is finals worthy In: bambam , cripps, doc , boyd, motlop Out: hollands , fisher, cincotta, durdin , marchbank Keep pitto out another week

Autopsy 2023 Rd 22 Blues win a thriller. Finals closer.

best win of the year , insane ! Notable mentions Patrick Cripps 3 brownlow votes, was the engine behind all 3 of our match winning goals to open the 4th- his presence is that of a captain that wants to and can win a flag in 2023 TDK immense , has physicality , I reckon 1 more preseason...

Preview 2023 Rd 22 Carlton vs Melbourne Saturday August 12 7:30M @ MCG

Unpopular opinion probably … but Ed as a late sub worked 11 minutes game time 4 disposals 1 goal assist 3 score involvements Got the handball out in the acres goal , and kicked to set up another. Didn’t mind it at all

Preview 2023 Rd 22 Carlton vs Melbourne Saturday August 12 7:30M @ MCG

I’m just wondering Why are people assuming Clarry comes In? Last article I read he had a flare up and was still 2-3 away , that was last week ?

Preview 2023 Rd 22 Carlton vs Melbourne Saturday August 12 7:30M @ MCG

My point is that the traditional ruck role is overrated , I.e an ideal ruck needs to do more than hit outs to advantage to justify their position. For example prime 2018 Grundy and Gawn this year are doing a lot more on the field than tapping the ball. Also hit outs to advantage are not why...

Preview 2023 Rd 22 Carlton vs Melbourne Saturday August 12 7:30M @ MCG

When we are full, Pitto definitely off.. Traditional Rucks are overrated, we win games and clearances even when we get dominated in hit outs. Pittonet is just too slow for this new style we’re playing and doesn’t take enough contested marks to justify his height advantage. Still can’t believe...

Preview 2023 Rd 21 Carlton vs St Kilda Sunday August 6 3:20PM @ Marvel Stadium

Some less obvious observations: - Hewetts form has miraculously picked up past couple of weeks, his performance in the next month will set us up, at his best he is a top 5 player for us and he is almost there. - Also keen for Boyds return - he isn’t perfect but he is part of this unsung hero...
