Given it’s taken them 10 years to claw their way back I don’t think they’ll be making the same mistakes they did post 2015. Good clubs are determined by the people who make the big decisions and Haddy has good people in place.

I think if you knew the facts you’d be shocked at how little he is playing for. A loyal and quality person now giving back to his junior club. Best of luck Khoder. Be sad not to see you at Mutton Reserve going forward.

Glenroy beat them late in the year, Haddy should have beaten them the first time. Had half a team out. Any suggestion Westy are that much better than either of them is delusional.

Julian Hemala signed at Roy’s. Played every game for pacco this season. He’s a gun. Hearing Nick Maric will sign at Glenroy also.

Interesting…believe he played a fair bit down back this year so explains the 17 goals. Which was reason why he looked elsewhere and had a connection with Trembearth apparently and Haddy needed a key forward so it worked out.

Wonder how Nathan Johnson will go in EDFL. Regularly kicked 40-50 goals in WRFL Div 2. We saw Hovey do the same and still play well in EDFL Div 2. You’d think Johnson still good enough to kick 25-30 goals. Good foil for Wallace and Trembearth. They haven’t had a big forward for a long time.

Agree with you on that. Haddy won 7 games and beat Glenroy twice. They beat Westy & Northern both finals teams. Lost both times to Sunbury Roos when in control of both games which cost them finals. Any suggestion they were “bad” well off the mark. Were just a long way off Burnside & TL that was it.

Westy has got a good group, Capron and Petersen great leaders. Kosteas and Evans are stars! I just worry for them that they might be a little comfortable with how they went this year. Div 2 is only getting better and better, they’d want to improve otherwise they will slip back to the pack...

Hearing Haddy have had a good go at some decent talent at rival clubs. Players from other club even seeking out moves to the club such is the optimism of their list. Will be a big watch over the next month or two…
