Could not disagree more. The cap and points system shackled any team down the bottom to remain there unless.....they cheat the cap. Cap cheating is rife. How can a side down the bottom improve when they have the same points and cap as other teams. Some clubs were offered two extra points...what...

Perhaps its time for the top 8 leagues to play a round robin in a major regional town? Shortened game times like 2 x15 min halves. I really think we have lost something since the old championship model fell over. A Gather Round type scenario may work?
