I agree Pez had a good game today against the Suns. Better than usual IMO. I only compared him with Haynes as a defender and senior warhorse Giants whose best days are probably behind them. And if Perryman left, there’s younger guys -or Haynes- who could step in. We have that depth.
This is unpopular around my home, but I wouldn’t miss Perryman. The defensive lapses, showing up too late, giving away possession… I find Haynes more reliable, and also more iconic as a vintage high performing Giant.
In fairness, the sound system at Giants Stadium is awful, and few of the segments they play are EQ’d for a PA system. Someone on a mixing desk could do a lot to make the “screaming banshee” intelligible.
All the much-touted mid-season upgrade money went on visuals for advertising, none on...
If we lose this one, maybe the Carlton fans can teach us how to boo our own team. It worked for them last year, the blues really turned it around after their fans gave them a resounding booing.
A mum and daughter spotted my +1’s fashionable Giants scarf as we got off the plane, they’re going, we’re going, so that’s four more. No more rain, and damned chilly here.
Twenty-four hours out and we’re still clear favourite in the betting, for some reason.
I’m glad to see so many people here feel the same way I do about Peatling. His efforts are sensational, playing and subbing anywhere as required, and he’s pulled off some miracles, like the match-winning...
Blacktown ???!!! Haha. It’s okay for watching a low-crowd VFL match, if you’re an enthusiast. No transport, negligible parking (and it’s off site), if it’s a sunny day the sun is merciless, there’ll be a snake break, and the one canteen is like a poorly run tuck shop selling only heart attack...
Thanks Giant Yo Yo,
We’ll take your advice and contact the club. We’re Giants members and bay 146 seems unavailable online, maybe reserved for Giants members via the club.
Cheers,
Greg
Hello,
Re 2024 round 16 GWS v Crows at Adelaide. Can anyone share any Adelaide Oval knowledge?
I’ll be going, and prefer not to sit isolated among a hostile Crow army, especially when we take the lead. Is there a usual area for visiting team fans to sit at Adelaide? The tickets went on sale...
