He's UFA, nothing to see at all - except the melts from Richmond supporters.

Cunningham, Marchbank and Martin all do but once they got to Carlton they all suffered injuries. Marchbank played 56 games in 8 seasons there after he was traded for a first round pick! That reeks of bad high performance management.

The common denominator in all the Carlton delistings is injury. Jack Martin and Caleb Marchbank can definitely play but they can't stay on the park.

He played every game for Essendon this year. What would he cost us? 2nd rounder? F2?

Btw congrats on 18 years on BigFooty. :thumbsu:

    No arguments from me there.

He's a wingman if you believe the AA team.

Their back six is in total disarray so I get they want stability long term. Not sure six years of Perryman is the answer.

I think it's Port Adelaide who has offered him six years. If I were Harry Perryman I'd take that but as a football club I'd be wary of signing a player for that long.

You're a tough marker! I think he'd be a good addition to our back six as he'd free up Quaynor to rebound more. Having said that, an intercepting defender is a need.

I think your strategy is the right one for this year given we have such little capital. Your man Stone was pick 15 (2020) so he can obviously play but 13 games in four seasons suggests he's getting frustrated behind others in the Giants midfield. He's definitely worth a look.

He would be a good get. I've heard the Power are interested in him as well.

So far we've missed out on... Petracca (pure fantasy anyway) Smith (a few rumours early but now seems headed to the Cattery) Keane (Would've been handy but I think his disposal is ropey) Battle (that's a disappointment but we don't want to spend big on KPDs anyway) Houston (seems to be staying...

You'd hate to think it would have something to do with when and how he broke his arm. I would love him to get it together because of the potential he has shown.

    List Mgmt. 2024 Draft Class

Has the AFL slipped any kind of release as to the reworking of draft points from 2025? It's frustrating not knowing what kind of hand we need to hold to bid on McGuane.

I don't actually mind this suggestion as he's a marginal upgrade on Frampton. I definitely prefer it to all the chatter about Mark Keane. I think the most pressing concern defensively is a replacement for Howe though. As I see it we have Jakob Ryan but his development has been hampered by injuries.

On the one hand it's Tom Morris but on the other hand it's something Adrian Dodoro might've said.

He had a knee injury five years ago at the Suns. A dislocated shoulder at the beginning of 2023 and missed half the season and missed a chunk of pre-season earlier this year.

How serious is the talk that Wright would leave Essendon? He won the B+F two seasons ago and is turning 28 next week. On the face of it he would be a good acquisition but how injury ravaged is his body?

If Houston played for us obviously I'd want the best possible value which is two first round picks. He's well credentialled, no doubt about it. Realistically, and I know this is a hypothetical trade, Richards would be some part of the deal in my book but perhaps with a higher draft pick...

No, that's too much. Would they consider Richards + pick 20 if we could get that from GCS for John Noble?

100% It also shows an ignorance of the purpose of trading. Why would you trade for something you basically already have? Secondly, it shows the short memories of some people. In a short space of time Collingwood has traded out Adams, Grundy and Treloar. The latter was particularly gut wrenching...
