I think a large part of the reason eventual GF winners lose early games is because they went deep into finals the year before and therefore had a delayed start to preseason. Because of this they are still building in the early rounds and not as complete a package as the bottom 10-12 teams from...
I’ve got Foxtel, pretty much just for the sport though - afl, cricket and f1. Currently paying $65 for the full package (didn’t ask for it, threatened to disconnect so they gave me the lot plus a discount). What’s a good rate these days?
That’s the bottom 6 or 7 of our best 29 though - the only 1 people are regularly naming best 22 is Switta. I think they stack up ok as players 23-30 on a top 8 list (add Voss, McDonald and Brodie to the list too. And maybe Simpson)
Personally I think Sharp is comfortably B22.
From your team I still have JOM ahead of Ras but it’s close.
And Wagner v Draper is a close one too - could depend on match ups.
I think I’d have Walters ahead of Ras if he’s fully fit too. Hmm, hard to get it down to only 23.
Yep, with the list they’ve got there’s no excuse for finishing bottom 6. Anything lower than 12th would be a complete failure of their system and / or an indication that the players aren’t on board with the new coach.
As others have noted, a pretty good season overall - we had a solid team this year, much better than a lot of teams, but the top handful are really a class above. Once the rest of the comp improves to the level of crows, bris, hawks etc we’ll have a serious competition on our hands.
Well done...
Veganism isn’t really done for health related reasons very often. It’s generally a lifestyle and moral decision based on cruelty to animals.
I agree with all the food listed above. For extra protein especially when in muscle building phase, is there any reason whey protein isn’t okay?
I’d say the lack of overall calories would be the main factor in why you couldn’t think clearly, and were down on energy. Dropping a kilo a week or more means you’re not getting anywhere near enough calories a day.
It’s okay short term if you really need to drop a lot of weight but not for...
Honestly I don’t get the haters around their trading - they needed multiple players, not just the sole player you’d get with pick 3. Right now they’ve turned pick 3 into what’s likely to be 3 best 23 players for the next 6+ years. If they slide slightly from pick 12 because ithey still get the...
Could be 10, 11 and 18 for Bolton and 14?
10 and 11 too much
10 and 18 not enough
But 10, 11, 18 for Bolton and 14 could be the sweet/sour enough spot for both teams
Agree that we’re a top 4 side without him, though our small forwards next year are probably less good than this year - and they weren’t great this year.
Without Bolton (or similar) I don’t think we are a top 2 / flag team though. That is important.
No way it will be 11 and 30, Richmond would never take that and nor should they.
I expect wallsy and co will be pretty happy if it’s 10(or 11) and 18.
Worth remembering that when we did the Collingwood trade we probably assumed something like 15 (now 16 with battle compo) - so that and 18 is...
Any chance the Bolton deal is 10, 11 (actually 12, 13 by draft night) with next years second rounder coming back (pick 19 likely before compo picks etc)?
I’m starting to think our first and 3rd picks won’t be enough and it will have to be the first 2 with something back, but they might want to...
