Ive been following richmonds odds very closely over the last 10 years or so and I can't recall us ever being so short as 1.20. Anyone remember us being this short for any game in that time?
Ive been following tigers pretty closely and betting on most games over the last 10 years and I can't recall us being this short ever in that time. Anyone remember us starting as short as 1.20 ever in that time?
I think it sounds fantastic, especially the bit about the bottom 6 playing off for higher draft picks. It would bring some integrity back to the system. Unfortunately I'm sure the AFL couldn't do it for commercial reasons or something like that.
so u saying we are such a lock for the spoon that all bets should be paid out? Who cares if we want the top non gold coast selection, doesn't mean we are going to get it!
I agree and would love to see him get a chance this weekend too.
"This kid could possibly the biggest steal of last years draft."
Interesting choice of words, lets just hope he can put four good quarters together and not go walkabout hey!
I disagree, I think its a good thread. He said its a million to one shot but so what? We might as well aim high and just take it one week at a time. If Hawks lose to the saints, bombers lose to the lions, then we beat the swans we can all watch the sunday twilight game hoping freo can upset...
you can choose to deny the facts all you want but when u insult rather than offer genuine debate you only strengthen my argument. He has without doubt been superior to both of them especially buddy this year. This is also reflected in champion data points which are a reasonably accurate way of...
I felt an updated was needed on these trio.
Here are the cold hard facts (champion data points) for 2009 hawthorn supporters.
Tambling 84.9
Roughead 83.6
Franklin 75.1
Pretty funny how much better Tambling has been playing than these two over the last 6 weeks! lol
In 2007 Tambling also averaged more champion data points than roughead, even though both played 20 games. Obviously in 2008 when Hawthorn dominated, Roughead scored higher than tambling. Now in 2009 when the Hawks are struggling a bit (not as badly as the tigers are) his scores are again...
Yeh I know it's not conclusive, but the fact he is scoring more champion data points than both of them is extremely interesting. You guys might have stuffed up and should have got tambling instead of Roughead. You could have done with a quality midfiielder yesterday when you were getting...
Here are some cold hard facts from the 2009 season for a few of you Hawthorn supporters that have been oh so smug about Draft Picks.
Average Champion Data Points 2009
Tambling 82.9
Roughead 82.8
Franklin 80.5
Champion Data points may not be the be all and end all, but they are a fair...
I generally agree with Bollox on this topic but I don't think it would be ok to say to anyone you're not wanted here because u are white or black, christian or muslim etc. But that doesnt happen, however moral crusaders talking up about how racism is a problem in society are right. The problem...
I played under 18's with him and couldn't believe anyone picked him. He was an ordinary footballer then, one of the weakest (strength wise) players i have seen. He is tall and somewhat quick, although not that quick by AFL standards at all. There were at least 10 blokes in our team clearly...
leaving aside their horrendous drafting in 2006 its kind of amusing that after hawthorn supporters acting so smug, its tambling who is now making a mockery of their decision to go with roughead over him!

she just loves her dt, and she always goes out of her way to try and help other people. considering thats what this board is for i dont really see the problem? if it wasnt for people like porps the dt boards wouldnt be as good!
as for the stevens trade, i see some merit in it. Hes someone...
the fact that he is so hated on here astounds me. i kinda like him, he had one bad game this year and he always dominates for coburg, more so than anyone else we have seen this year.
